Snowflake, a cloud-based data storage company, is updating its Snowflake Partner Network (SPN) Reseller Program to enhance customer value and introduce new revenue opportunities.

The updates enable Snowflake to make greater commitments to joint go-to-market efforts with its partners and incentivize them to sell as part of the Snowflake ecosystem.

New investments boosting the SPN Reseller Program

The SPN Reseller Program authorizes qualified partners to resell Snowflake to end customers as part of their solutions. Among the significant highlights of the updates are:

  • SPN investments: Over the first half of fiscal year 2026 (FY26), Snowflake will invest in its partner ecosystem to deepen collaboration with partners. These investments include launching SPN Learn for on-demand training and certification, as well as the Service Registration Incentives (SRI), which provides a new way for partners to earn incentives.
  • Reimagined SPN Reseller Program: The organization is realigning the objectives of its sales teams with partners to ensure that both Snowflake and its partners collaborate to deliver maximum value to joint customers. Partners will now be better positioned to resell Snowflake’s easy, connected, and trusted platform to end customers as part of the solutions they build.

“The true power of the SPN Reseller Program lies in the Snowflake platform itself,” writes Chris Neiderman, SVP, Worldwide Alliances & Channels, Snowflake, in a blog post. “Snowflake resellers are not just selling a product; they’re offering customers a platform that redefines what’s possible with data. The Snowflake platform stands out because it’s easy, connected, and trusted, making it a highly compelling solution for any business.”

Empowering their ecosystem

Throughout the first half of FY26, Snowflake will make investments to accelerate the needs of its partners, including:

  • SPN Learn: SPN Learn is a key investment for Snowflake, serving as a learning platform designed to equip partners with tools for success, including beginner essentials and professional services courses. SPN Learn offers on-demand training and certifications, making it easier for partners to get up to speed on the latest Snowflake features and best practices.
  • AI Data Cloud Services Partner Program Enhancements: The AI Data Cloud Services partner program will be elevated with a new tiering structure to provide clear pathways for advancements and recognition. Additionally, the SRI has been introduced as a new way for partners to earn incentives for driving successful customer engagements.
  • Community unity: Snowflake hosted a variety of partner-centric events to engage partners directly with the Snowflake team, including SPN Pulse, their quarterly webinar series, SPN Connect, their in-person event series, and the Partner Appreciation Reception and Partner Awards during Snowflake Summit. The events provided valuable opportunities for partners to connect, learn, and celebrate success stories with the entire Snowflake community.

SPN goals: growing to $10B through its global partner ecosystem

In Q1 of FY24, Snowflake announced its intention to continue enhancing the SPN in FY25 to support growth to $10 billion by 2030.

To achieve this goal, SPN detailed driving new customer acquisition, funding Partner services, and investing in strategic partners.

Snowflake’s aim, which has continued into 2025, was to expand and streamline its approach to drive partner investments using the Partner Development Funds program. Additionally, the investments made to SPN will be committed to training and certifying partners, executing demand generation activities, and developing solutions on Snowflake.

“We’re laying the groundwork for a future where our partners can capitalize on unprecedented opportunities, build and deliver innovative solutions, and thrive in a connected ecosystem,” writes Neiderman. “Our investments are designed to fuel your long-term growth and help our customers achieve even greater success with the Snowflake AI Data Cloud.”

When it comes to partner programs, making improvements and additions to the programs not only keeps them fresh but also helps MSPs make the greatest impact for customers. Read more about dbt Labs’ revamped partner program with expanded capabilities and collaboration.
