Flare is expanding its channel push with Ignite by Flare, a new global partner program designed to help MSSPs and resellers build and scale managed threat intelligence services.

The program combines partner-sourced ARR tiering with certifications, deal registration, MDF, go-to-market support, and multi-tenant threat exposure management as demand grows for proactive monitoring of credential theft, ransomware activity, and other external threats.

Flare builds Ignite around MSSP and reseller growth

In its official announcement, Flare highlighted the growing challenge organizations face from exposed credentials, stealer logs, ransomware activity, and other external threats.

The company argues that demand is increasing for partners to deliver proactive threat monitoring and intelligence services that help customers identify risks before they are exploited.

Flare says its new Ignite partner program provides the structure, resources, and support needed to bring those services to market and drive long-term growth.

“Partners play a critical role in helping organizations understand and reduce their exposure to cyber threats,” said Sarah Chmielewski, VP of Sales, Flare.

“With Ignite, we’re making a significant investment in the partner community by providing a clear path to growth, meaningful incentives, and the resources needed to build successful services and security practices around Flare. This program recognizes and rewards our partners while helping them create more value for their customers.”

Five-tier model adds certifications, MDF and sales support

Ignite offers a formal framework for partner enablement, certifications, deal registration, marketing development funds (MDF), business development support, and go-to-market collaboration.

The program also introduces a five-tier model that rewards partners based on partner-sourced annual recurring revenue and engagement.

According to Flare, key benefits include:

  • Partner portal access for deal registration, certification tracking, go-to-market materials, NFR licenses, and pipeline visibility.
  • Sales, technical, and MSSP-focused certifications designed to accelerate partner readiness and expertise.
  • Dedicated channel, sales engineering, and business development support that expands as partners progress through program tiers.
  • Marketing Development Funds (MDF) to support events, demand generation programs, webinars, outreach initiatives, and other growth activities.
  • Custom go-to-market planning and coordinated marketing campaigns to help partners generate pipeline and increase market visibility.
  • A multi-tenant threat exposure management platform that enables MSSPs to manage multiple customers from a single console.

Co-branded threat research gives partners a go-to-market tool

According to Flare, a key differentiator of its new Ignite program is the company’s investment in joint go-to-market activities.

Eligible partners gain access to co-branded research reports developed in collaboration with Flare Research, which enables them to conduct original threat intelligence as part of their marketing and customer engagement efforts.

“We’ve seen the impact of what joint research can accomplish. A recent joint report surfaced hundreds of thousands of stolen credentials tied to FTSE 100 companies circulating on criminal marketplaces, giving our partner proprietary, headline-worthy data to bring into customer conversations and earning coverage from major outlets,” added Chmielewski.

The CTI provider says its new partner program reflects the company’s ongoing commitment to building a partner-friendly ecosystem with transparent tiering, clear requirements, and investments that help partners achieve measurable business outcomes.

Netrix points to demand for external exposure management

The Ignite announcement has also garnered support from existing Flare partner Netrix Global.

Adam Berger, senior vice president of managed services and CISO at Netrix Global, said Flare’s external exposure management has become a key part of the company’s MSP and MSSP portfolio.

“Flare’s external exposure management is now a critical layer of defense-in-depth across our MSP/MSSP portfolio, and client adoption has been rapid — a direct result of close collaboration between Flare and Netrix Global. Ignite is a natural next step, and we’re excited to keep building alongside a partner as invested in our mutual success as we are.”

AI-enabled threats drive demand for threat intelligence

As organizations contend with a growing volume of AI-powered threat gaps and alerts, identifying meaningful risks before they are exploited is becoming a greater priority for modern security teams.

A recent CrowdStrike report revealed an 89% year-over-year increase in attacks by AI-enabled adversaries, highlighting how AI is helping threat actors scale their activities across areas such as reconnaissance and credential theft.

With the rise of AI-enabled threats, MSSPs have an opportunity to provide customers with continuous threat monitoring and intelligence capabilities they may lack internally.

Programs such as Ignite could help providers build those capabilities into managed offerings while supporting threat detection across multiple customer environments.
