Arms Cyber launches Shield Partner Program to equip North American resellers with proactive cyber defense solutions and next-gen channel growth tools.

Cybersecurity firm Arms Cyber has launched its Shield Partner Program, an initiative designed to empower North American reseller partners to deliver preemptive cyber defense solutions, moving beyond the reactive approach of legacy systems. 

Shifting from reactive to preemptive security

In its official press release, Arms Cyber cited a Gartner forecast predicting that preemptive cybersecurity solutions will account for 50% of all IT security spending. The company said its Shield Partner Program is designed to give partners a “first-mover advantage” as the industry shifts from “reactive cleanup” to proactive defense.

“Ransomware is outpacing traditional defenses, leaving businesses exposed,” said John Pittenger, vice president of channels and alliances at Arms Cyber.

“The Shield Partner Program empowers our partners to deliver solutions that attackers can’t touch, completely invisible, immune, and instantly recoverable, giving them a real competitive edge,” he added.

Proactive defense as a differentiator for partners

According to Arms Cyber, the Shield Partner Program serves as a complete partner ecosystem that arms resellers with “forward-thinking technology built for tomorrow’s threats.”
