Radware, a provider of application security and delivery solutions for multi-cloud environments, has signed a managed security service provider (MSSP) agreement with EPIC Cloud Company, a Taiwanese cloud service provider.

AI-enabled cloud security joins EPIC Cloud’s portfolio

Through the agreement, EPIC Cloud will integrate Radware’s AI-powered Cloud Application Protection Services into its managed services portfolio, expanding its security offerings for customers.

“Our focus is on helping our customers drive digital innovation in the cloud while keeping their applications available and protecting their data,” said Jay Jiang, product manager from EPIC Cloud. “We selected Radware as our partner because of their reputation for industry leading application security services and how they enable us to deliver fully managed protection without technical build out or operational lift.”

Radware’s Cloud Application Protection Service is a one-stop shop for application security needs. Through a single platform, organizations can access Radware’s web application firewall, bot detection and management, API protection, client-side protection, and application-layer DDoS protection.

Taiwanese market expansion

EPIC Cloud, meanwhile, specializes in enterprise applications, cloud reliability, hosting and maintenance, information security management and control, and project software development.

“Our MSSP model is designed to help our partners quickly meet their customers’ increasing expectations for advanced AI-powered, cyber defense technologies without having to make infrastructure investments,” said Missy Huang, Radware’s country manager in Taiwan. “We look forward to working with EPIC Cloud in reducing security risks for their customers as they face the dual pressure of shrinking security teams and a rapidly growing threat surface.”

The investment in Taiwan as a whole goes deeper for Radware, as the organization has invested in a cloud security service center in Taipei. It serves as part of a network of over 50 cloud security service centers that support mitigation capacity up to 15Tbps.

Radware’s other recent MSSP partnerships

Earlier this month, Radware signed an MSSP agreement with four companies to expand its security offerings further.

The four companies include: Epcom World Industries, Inc., GLESEC, North Atlantic Networks, and Tech Pro. They will add Radware’s Cloud Application Protection Services to their managed services portfolios, much like EPIC Cloud will.

“MSSPs are constantly looking for more innovative ways to defend customers as they deal with growing budget constraints, limited in-house security staff, and bigger, more complex cyber threats,” said John Eisenbarger, vice president of carriers and service providers for Radware. “Applications are facing increasing exposure from bots, API abuse, web-layer DDoS attacks, and credential misuse. To enable MSSPs to respond where customer risk is expanding fastest, Radware offers a fully managed AppSec-as-a-Service platform that is ready to quickly deploy, scale, and monetize, without having to build a backend.”

AI-powered vCISO platform provider, Cynomi, launched a new partner program earlier this year to boost MSP and MSSP growth. Read more about how the ELEVATE program drives growth, scalability, and success in cybersecurity.
