Flexera, a technology spend and risk intelligence organization, and SHI International Corp., a technology solutions provider, have entered into a strategic alliance to deliver unified IT asset management (ITAM) and FinOps solutions to optimize and accelerate AI adoption.

SHI managed services now powered by Flexera One

As a result of this partnership, organizations will be able to leverage SHI’s expertise in managed services with the Flexera One platform to gain new insights across their cloud, AI, and hybrid environments.

“Flexera’s technology is second to none in having the capabilities to bring ITAM, FinOps, and SaaS in a single platform to our customers,” said Shane Cronin, head of ITAM and FinOps at SHI. “By embedding Flexera’s solutions into our service delivery, we’re transforming the customer experience. This partnership allows us to scale smarter, deliver faster, and provide richer outcomes for our clients.”

This partnership will allow the organization to derisk and accelerate corporate objectives by strategically optimizing and reallocating technology investments, strengthening its compliance and risk posture, and breaking down organizational silos that slow progress.

Spend and risk management are among the top needs addressed by the new partnership

By delivering the Flexera One platform to organizations, SHI will help them with technology management challenges, such as:

  • Technology Spend Management: Optimize technology spend across software, cloud, SaaS, and AI.
  • Technology Risk Management: Mitigate compliance and security risks with enhanced visibility and control.
  • AI & Digital modernization: Accelerate transformation projects utilizing reliable technology asset data to support cloud, AI, and automation initiatives.

“Partnering with SHI is an exciting chapter in bringing our market-leading technology to a broader audience, helping organizations maximize the business value of their technology investments,” said Flexera CRO Greg Petraetis. “SHI’s managed services combined with Flexera One gives customers unified visibility across software, SaaS, cloud, and AI– so they can cut waste, reduce risk, and drive transformation. Together, we’re turning fragmented data into decisions and measurable outcomes that move the business faster.”

Through the combination of SHI’s global reach and deep expertise in helping organizations manage compliance, optimize speed, and realize value across cloud, tail spend, and strategic vendors, and Flexera’s platform, customers will attain unified visibility, control, and cost management, and maximize measurable outcomes from investments.

SHI’s expansion of AI capabilities

Recently, SHI announced that it had achieved $16 billion in rolling 12-month gross sales, along with a new strategic investment in NStarX to boost its commitment to AI development and delivery.

“AI is unlocking possibilities we could only imagine a few years ago,” said Thai Lee, SHI president and CEO. “At SHI, our mission is to ensure customers don’t just keep up with this transformation– they lead it. By providing the tools, expertise, and partnerships to innovate with confidence, we are helping organizations turn bold ideas into real outcomes. I am proud of how far we’ve come, and even more excited about the future we are building together with our customers.”

Customers of SHI’s AI & Cyber Labs will have access to NStarX’s 100+ data scientists to enable end-to-end delivery of AI programs.

Earlier this year, Flexera released an ITAM report that found that IT teams are losing visibility across their tech stacks. Catch up on the findings and learn more from Flexera’s 2025 State of ITAM Report.
