Netrio is expanding its global delivery footprint with the opening of a new office in Pune, India, a move that reflects broader trends among managed service providers looking to scale operations, improve around-the-clock support, and manage costs amid rising customer expectations.
The new Pune office represents the next phase of Netrio’s international growth strategy and is intended to strengthen its 24x7x365 service delivery model for mid-market enterprise customers.
The office will be led by Ritesh Gupta, general manager, India, and Swarup Sinha, senior vice president of delivery, India. The executives will oversee the development of delivery teams supporting Netrio’s global client base across managed IT, cloud, and cybersecurity services.
Reflecting a broader MSP shift toward global delivery
For MSPs serving increasingly distributed customer environments, global delivery centers have become a strategic lever for maintaining service levels while scaling efficiently. Netrio COO Pete Salamanca said the Pune expansion aligns with those priorities.
“India offers a dynamic, deeply skilled technology talent pool, and opening an office in Pune is an important next step in Netrio’s growth and international strategy,” Salamanca said. “This expansion enables us to deliver even greater value to mid-market enterprises — facilitating continuous and seamless delivery for clients with global operations while expanding our off-hours 24×7 support.”
The move comes as MSPs face growing pressure to provide continuous monitoring, faster response times, and expanded cybersecurity coverage without significantly increasing customer costs. Establishing offshore and nearshore delivery hubs has become a common strategy for achieving those goals.
As Netrio’s CEO, Mark Clayman told us in September, the provider remains hyper-focused on delivering the best outcomes for its customers.
“There’s a lot of talk about platforms, technology, and tooling, and those things are of course crucial, but at the end of the day, it’s always going to be about the people, relationships, and the talent in services,” said Clayman.
Building on recent international expansion
Netrio’s Pune office builds on the company’s existing U.S. footprint, which includes offices in Texas, New York, and Minnesota, as well as its Belfast, Northern Ireland, location, which came through the May 2025 acquisition of Agio.
Prior to opening the Pune office, Netrio also operated with a remote India-based workforce, which the company said served as a foundation for formalizing and scaling its India presence.
Pune was selected for its concentration of engineering talent, strong infrastructure, and access to universities and research institutions.
Netrio said the region’s multilingual workforce and mature technology ecosystem make it well-suited for supporting managed IT and cybersecurity services at scale.
Leadership focused on scaling delivery operations
Gupta brings more than 22 years of experience delivering IT services for Fortune 100 companies, with a background in building offshore delivery models across managed services and large-scale enterprise programs.
His industry experience spans financial services, healthcare, retail, manufacturing, and consulting.
Sinha brings experience across service delivery, client partnerships, and transformation initiatives supporting customers in North America, Europe, and APAC.
Netrio said his focus will include strengthening delivery operations, improving client satisfaction, and supporting long-term growth.
As mid-market organizations continue to modernize their IT environments and expand security requirements, Netrio’s investment in global delivery positions the MSP to compete more effectively in a crowded, increasingly globalized services market.
