Evergreen’s Pine Services Group has acquired Australian ERP consulting and implementation partner Stratus Consulting Group, expanding the company’s presence in the Asia-Pacific market as demand for cloud modernization and enterprise application services continues driving consolidation across the IT services sector.

Acquisition expands Pine’s global services footprint

With Stratus joining the portfolio, Pine now operates across the United States, Ireland, Scotland, England, and Australia.

The services group said the acquisition is part of Evergreen’s broader strategy to build a global portfolio of enterprise software and technology-enabled services providers.

“This is a momentous milestone for Evergreen and Pine, taking our team from an international group to a global services firm with an incredible executive leadership team and deep bench of business and technical talent,” said Lela Day, chief people officer of Pine Services Group.

Day said Stratus has built a strong reputation in the Australian mid-market across MYOB Acumatica, Microsoft, and Epicor. She also noted Stratus’ early momentum around HubSpot, which will give Pine its first entry point into CRM expertise.

Stratus brings ERP and CRM expertise to Pine portfolio

Founded in 2017, Stratus Consulting Group has completed more than 700 ERP implementations across Australia.

The company works with MYOB Acumatica, Wiise, Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, and Epicor.

Stratus is also a HubSpot Platinum Partner and has a fully onshore team of more than 55 specialists.

Pine said it plans to preserve Stratus’ team, culture, and customer-first delivery model while investing in the company’s growth and service capabilities.

Stratus CEO points to growth opportunities for employees and customers

The acquisition also gives Stratus access to Pine’s broader international community of operating leaders and its expertise in enterprise software services.

Mark Belkin, CEO of Stratus, said the acquisition will create new opportunities for both employees and customers.

“Pine’s unique approach means they are committed to preserving the legacy, culture, and independence that make Stratus Consulting Group special,” Belkin said. “With their strategic support and investment, we will have the stability to accelerate our growth and elevate our customer experience.”

Services firm consolidation continues

The acquisition underscores ongoing consolidation across the ERP, cloud, and channel services markets, as providers look to expand their geographic reach and deepen specialization through acquisitions rather than relying solely on organic growth.

Investors and holding companies have increasingly targeted ERP consultancies, managed services firms, and cloud implementation partners that bring established customer bases, certified platform expertise, and recurring services revenue.

The trend has accelerated alongside rising demand for cloud migration, integration, automation, and business application modernization services among mid-market organizations.

For firms like Pine, acquisitions increasingly serve as a way to quickly expand geographic coverage, add certified talent, and build end-to-end enterprise services portfolios for mid-market customers undergoing digital transformation.
