1Brad Brooks

Brad Brooks left his role as Microsoft corporate vice president for Windows consumer marketing and product management and became vice president of worldwide enterprise marketing and solutions at Juniper Networks.

2Emilio Umeoka

Emilio Umeoka, former president of Microsoft Asia Pacific, joined Juniper Networks as the senior vice president of worldwide partners business.

3Luanne Tierney

As it was hiring former Microsoft executives, Juniper also lured Luanne Tierney away from Cisco to head up partner marketing. At Cisco, Tierney was vice president of global partner marketing, a title she kept in her move to Juniper.

4Bill Wohl

In January, HP hired Bill Wohl away from SAP to become its new chief communications officer. At SAP, he was the vice president of global communications.

5Leo Apotheker

Likewise, Leo Apotheker, HP’s CEO hired in September 2010, was formerly the CEO of SAP a role he’d abruptly stepped down from in February 2010.

6Mark Hurd

HP and Oracle came to a head when Oracle hired former HP CEO Mark Hurd as its new president. HP filed a lawsuit against Oracle, claiming Hurd couldn’t meet his new duties without violating HP confidentiality agreements.

7Adrian Jones

Adrian Jones, HP’s former channel chief, moved over to Oracle, but according to a lawsuit filed by HP against Jones, the former channel chief stole hundreds of documents from HP prior to walking out the door.

8Nawaf Bitar

Juniper Networks hired away Nawaf Bitar from Cisco Systems in April 2011. Bitar was vice president of engineering and operations for Cisco’s security technology business. He joined Juniper as the senior vice president and general manager of emerging technologies.

9Debra Chrapaty

Cisco Systems lost Debra Chrapaty, its (now former) senior vice president and general manager of collaboration software group, to Zynga, where she accepted the role of CIO in April.
