so scale Computing is a hypercon converg infrastructure vendor we our goal was setting out is to really simplify the infrastructure world so what we did is we took the server storage and virtualization layers combined it all down into one single solution one of the best things about scale Computing is that we have a great team to be able to help with the transition the product has been designed so that we can seamlessly switch people from VMware over to scale Computing and the partners themselves have come to us for many different reasons and we've been able to take them into on onboarding phase and enabling phase and then allow them to go and scale to all their and customers most partners that are coming to us are really looking for what alternatives are out there what do they need to know as to who they can work with uh and right now I think it's been a reset in the market for them to really kind of take a step back and say okay well who can we work with and from a scale Computing standpoint it's been great for us because our team has been able to get in front of these guys that are doing just doing the research themselves and they're finding out that scale has a lot to offer and this seamless switch and being able to come over to scale Computing has made things so much easier for them to really adopt the technology and feel comfortable and confident going to their end customers with it we've been really excited just uh to get our name in front of a lot of these partners that typically haven't seen scale or haven't had the opportunity to work with us it really has picked up a lot as you can imagine one of our favorite vendors scale computing uh supports us really well we've been with them for over 8 years now from sales to installation to support they all um match up what they say with what they do and how they act and scale Computing has definitely done that for us it's the reason why we still sell and support their Solutions and we use them in house uh a lot of vendors have great salese and the installation or the post onboarding is terrible and then the customer is left with a solution that really you know they can't get to quite work well for themselves and so scill Computing has been one of those partners for us that really uh thrives on being a in the spotlight of they actually do what they say they're going to do and they make us look good at the end of the day we do have a few different promotions that are out there uh especially around the VMware Community to bring people over to us we have a rip and replace uh promotion going on to help with the alleviate the cost essentially with coming over to scale and then we have a uh seamless switch opportunity for the end user themselves we're trying to make it as easy as possible for partner to bring their customers to us uh in this transition period and be able to get up and running quickly

After the VMware partner program ended in February following the cloud computing company’s acquisition by Broadcom, competing vendors are seeing an increase in business opportunities as many partners are left with a gap in their portfolios. One of those vendors is Scale Computing.

At Channel Partners Conference & Expo 2024, Scale Computing’s Kyle Fenske, director of North American channel, reflected on the impact his cloud computing and virtualization business is seeing and how his team is capitalizing on this momentous transition period in the IT channel.
