Arctic Wolf, a leader in security operations, has signed a strategic collaboration agreement (SCA) with Amazon Web Services (AWS) to further scale the company’s AI-powered Security Operations Center (SOC)—the Arctic Wolf Aurora Platform — and advance AI-driven security to more than 10,000 customers across the globe.
Making security work for orgs everywhere
In an official press release, Arctic Wolf said the SCA expands its industry-leading scale and performance to more organizations worldwide.
Built on AWS cloud infrastructure, the Arctic Wolf Aurora Platform processes more than nine trillion security observations each week. It also integrates with AWS security telemetry feeds and supports the Open Cybersecurity Schema Framework (OCSF) to centralize and normalize data from AWS, SaaS, and on-premises sources into a unified data lake.
This helps organizations implement real-time threat detection and response, reduce operational complexity, and identify critical security threats and risks much faster.
“AWS technologies are critical to building one of the largest and most scalable security operations platforms in the industry. By leveraging their cloud infrastructure, we can deliver the Aurora Platform at massive scale, unify telemetry across diverse environments, and make security work for organizations everywhere,” said Dan Schiappa, president of technology and services at Arctic Wolf.
“This collaboration is foundational to our ability to innovate and continue delivering one of the world’s largest commercial SOCs while pioneering new ways of helping organizations stay secure,” Schiappa said.
According to the company, the SCA and AWS infrastructure also enhance its Alpha AI offering — a suite of predictive and generative AI technologies designed to reduce alert fatigue and accelerate investigation workflows.
Customer perspectives on the Arctic Wolf/AWS SCA
Online clothing retailer and Arctic Wolf customer Custom Ink welcomed the collaboration, noting that Arctic Wolf’s partnership with AWS gives them peace of mind in protecting both their business and customer data.
“Our customers count on us to protect their ideas, designs, and information, and that’s central to how we do business,” said John Peterson, director of IT operations and security at Custom Ink.
“With Arctic Wolf tightly integrated with AWS, we get continuous monitoring across our cloud environments and can quickly detect and respond to threats. Having that confidence in our defenses means our teams can stay focused on keeping the business running smoothly while ensuring our customers’ data stays secure,” Peterson continued.
