Swimlane, an agentic AI automation provider, has launched Swimlane AI SOC for MSSPs, a platform designed to help managed security service providers (MSSPs) build AI-powered security operations centers without competing for their customers.
Swimlane positions AI SOC as an MSSP-owned platform
According to Swimlane, the new offering addresses a growing trend of AI SOC providers expanding into managed services, turning former technology partners into competitors for the MSSPs they once supported.
The company says Swimlane AI SOC takes the opposite approach. Built on the Swimlane Turbine platform, it enables MSSPs to retain customer relationships, maintain ownership of customer data, and control the services they deliver, while Swimlane provides the underlying agentic AI and automation capabilities.

Automation targets analyst capacity and service margins
In addition, Swimlane said the AI SOC automates alert handling, enabling analysts to support more customers without increasing headcount, reduce the cost per case, and improve customer outcomes.
The company also says the platform is intended to help MSSPs manage rising alert volumes, increasingly complex customer environments, and ongoing margin pressures.
Standardized operations support multi-tenant scale
In its announcement, Swimlane said AI SOC for MSSPs is designed to help service providers transition from highly customized deployments to a more standardized operating model.
It was also built to enable MSSPs to scale their operations by unifying commands across distributed client environments, while injecting AI into the service delivery lifecycle.
New capabilities include:
- Cross-Tenant Threat Intelligence: A shared intelligence layer that aggregates enrichment results, including observables and verdicts, from every connected client tenant so an alert enriched for one customer becomes instant context for the rest.
- Agentic AI Triage and Investigation: Normalizes every alert, enriches it with threat intelligence, and correlates it against related activity to produce an explainable verdict with MITRE ATT&CK mapping and an investigation plan.
- Central Command Center: Aggregates prioritized cases, including open cases, high- and critical-severity alerts, and unassigned cases, from every connected client tenant in real time.
- Command Sync Layer: Forwards case management metadata to the central command center, so MSSPs can standardize client onboarding without leveraging their own professional services for custom builds.
- MSSP Portfolio Analytics: Pre-built dashboards to monitor portfolio health, active cases, caseloads, analyst productivity and customer engagement, along with automated weekly metrics reports on cases created, closed, open and AI-triaged.
Swimlane expands its broader agentic AI strategy
Swimlane Turbine also integrates with existing IT service management (ITSM) and CRM platforms, including ServiceNow and Jira, allowing incident management to remain within existing workflows.
The launch builds on Swimlane’s broader AI strategy. Earlier this year, the company introduced AI Agent Workforce, adding Hero AI agents to the Turbine platform to accelerate SecOps automation and simplify AI agent deployment.
