Sophos is now bundling a free data loss protection product with the sale of its network-based antivirus software in an effort to expose more end users to its technology and capture share from larger rivals Symantec and McAfee.

This is the second time in a month that Sophos has initiated a free software promotion. In September, Sophos announced a deal with Hewlett-Packard to provide free antivirus with each Integrity server.
