ConnectWise launched an update to its business-process-management platform
for solution providers, managed service providers, and technology consultants and
integrators, the company said Thursday.

ConnectWise 2011.1 includes enhancements to communications, workflows, sales
and marketing and Web/mobile functionality. IT also incorporates Google
Calendar integration and enhancements to its Outlook Sync functions.

“ConnectWise software keeps evolving, thanks to our talented developers and
the suggestions and feedback from our vibrant community of partners,” Arnie
Bellini, ConnectWise CEO, said in a
statement.

“This first set of updates for the next calendar year delivers more advanced
and flexible integration with other business apps, such as e-mail and
calendars, as well as features that greatly simplify daily tasks.”

Partners requested additional sync capabilities with Microsoft Outlook and
Exchange, and the update allows users to sync meeting invites, recurring
appointments and multi-day scheduling. It also displays an alert when a
customer updates a record.

In addition, ConnectWise 2011 integrates with Google Calendar. Android and
iPhone users will be able to see related tickets and activities when viewing a
record. International time, date and currency features have also been added for
the mobile devices. The software will also support the iPad Safari browser.

Project dispatchers will now have a date-updated column visible in the
Service Board and see enhancements to the Reporting API
that will allow cloud-based partners access to custom reports. The Marketing API
now gives more information on the success of Web and e-mail campaigns.
