Five months after joining Juniper Networks to lead the company’s worldwide channels, Frank Vitagliano will now oversee its enterprise market as well.
Vitagliano will hold the new title of vice president of Worldwide Sales/U.S. Enterprise Operations, a spokesperson for Juniper Networks, based in Sunnyvale, Calif., confirmed July 7.

In his new role, Vitagliano will also oversee state and local sales, enterprise inside sales and the emerging technology group.

Before joining Juniper officially in March 2006, Vitagliano worked for 33 years with IBM, where he was the vice president of Worldwide Distribution Channels and was responsible for IBM’s server and storage business.
Before that promotion, Vitagliano was vice president of Distribution Channel Management for the IBM Personal Computer Company division, with responsibility for the worldwide go-to-market strategy for the organization’s $10 billion Personal Systems Business. He also led the redesign and development of the indirect channel strategy for this $5 billion business.
