ViewSonic has launched an incentive sweepstakes for partners and customers, offering weekly draws, a grand prize trip and technology from the company.

The display maker also rolled out five new low-priced DLP projectors.

Weekly draws for entertainment gift cards began Oct. 19 and ViewSonic will hold a final drawing on Feb. 1 for the grand prize of a VIP trip to a Nextel Cup Series race in Daytona, Fla. The sweepstakes runs through Dec. 31, and partners can register on the company’s Web site, by going to the ViewSonic ACCESS program page, the company said.

“Over the course of this contest ViewSonic will announce a number of innovative products that expand our technology leadership and broaden our portfolio of premium offerings,” said Jeff Volpe, vice president of marketing for ViewSonic Americas.

Last week the company also unveiled five new DLP projectors for presentation and entertainment.

Aimed at the education market, ViewSonic’s PJ557D, PJ559D and PJ560D carry an estimated retail price of $799, $899, and $1,099 respectively. They are plug-and-play and offer an extended lamp life of up to 4,000 hours, reducing total cost of ownership. An integrated RS232 port provides remote PC access and integrated third-party control systems for easy administration, the company said in a statement.

The projectors also include two 5-watt built-in speakers and offer 1024×768 native resolution. They also provide bright images with 2,200 lumens for the PJ557D, 2,700 lumens for the PJ559D and 3,200 lumens for the PJ560D, ViewSonic said.

For the budget-conscious, ViewSonic’s PJ551D projector is offered at an estimated street price of $649 and offers 2,200 lumens of brightness. It offers a 2000:1 contrast ratio and a 1024×768 XGA native resolution.

Aimed at the “road warrior” portion of the workforce with portability in mind, the PJ260D offers an estimated street price of $999. ViewSonic said the projector is easy to set up and automatically synchronizes the input source. It also offers a 1024×768 resolution, 2,000 lumens and a contrast ratio of 2000:1. It includes a remote control with built in mouse capabilities and laser pointer.

The display-maker’s new products all include BrilliantColor technology from Texas Instruments which uses a wider range of the color spectrum.

All five projectors will be available in November through authorized ViewSonic professional audio-visual resellers, distributors and solution providers. The projectors include ViewSonic’s customer support program, which includes a three-year limited product warranty, 24/7 technical support and one year of Express Exchange service at no additional charge, the company said. ViewSonic also provides a one-year lamp warranty.
