NVIDIA today announced the availability of enterprise reference architectures (enterprise RAs) to address challenges in infrastructure strategy for businesses at the enterprise level.

Architecture blueprints designed to meet growing complex infrastructure demands

NVIDIA’s announcement of the enterprise RAs points to the constant flow of developments in models and software frameworks as part of the complex technology landscape enterprises face today. With AI workloads in ever-increasing demand, infrastructure deployment is a top priority for many.

The enterprise RAs are blueprints designed by NVIDIA to help its partners and their customers build “AI factories,” described by the company as “high-performance, scalable, and secure data centers for manufacturing intelligence.”

Each Enterprise RA includes recommendations for:

  • Accelerated infrastructure based on an optimized NVIDIA-Certified server configuration, featuring the latest NVIDIA GPUs, CPUs, and networking technologies, that’s been tested and validated to deliver performance at scale.
  • AI-optimized networking with the NVIDIA Spectrum-X AI Ethernet platform and NVIDIA BlueField-3 DPUs to deliver peak network performance and guidance on optimal network configurations at multiple design points to address varying workload and scale requirements.
  • The NVIDIA AI Enterprise software platform for production AI, which includes NVIDIA NeMo and NVIDIA NIM microservices for easily building and deploying AI applications, and NVIDIA Base Command Manager Essentials for infrastructure provisioning, workload management and resource monitoring.

Customers will benefit across time, performance, and security through NVIDIA and its technology partners

Customers who utilize these enterprise RAs to deploy AI workloads will see a variety of benefits, according to NVIDIA, including a faster time to market and improved performance with increased scalability and manageability. Through these improvements, workloads will also become more secure while also becoming less complex to build and deploy.

Solutions through companies including Dell, PE, Lenovo, and Supermicro will be available through the new enterprise RAs.
