AI-powered data management company Ataccama recently announced that it has released a new update to the Ataccama ONE Data Management Platform to increase the ROI for customers.

Ataccama ONE v15.3 is the company’s “most full-featured, versatile product to date and empowers data teams to monitor, manage, and utilize data to enhance security and compliance and expand their customer value and footprint.”

Highlights of the update

Ataccama touts several highlights of the new features, including:

  • Greater productivity and accuracy with AI generation of test data
  • Enhanced data security to facilitate compliance
  • Monitoring data quality at scale for efficiency and trust in data

The upgrade also includes a new feature that allows users to utilize AI to generate test data which covers mode edge cases to improve the completeness of rules and save time.

The enhancements to data security feature present several benefits for users, including:

  • Protection of at-risk data quickly and confidently: The enhanced functionality ensures high quality and trustworthy data to enable organizations to protect sensitive and PII data by managing access and applying appropriate security controls.
  • Automated data hiding: The update provides automatic data hiding to prevent misuse, unauthorized access, and data leakage or breaches, so data samples are only available to relevant users.
  • Centralized credential management: As an extension of the existing integration with Microsoft Azure Key Vault, data teams can connect their HashiCorp directly, thus streamlining management and removing the need to share credentials with other services.

Additionally, the updates to speed, accuracy, and cost-effective processing performance ensures users have the most up-to-date and accurate data to work from at all times. This helps users move business initiatives forward successfully.

Its faster processing with data slicing allows data teams to run data quality monitoring on the latest increment of large data sets, with slices created based on time range and monitoring run on a scheduled basis. Processing is faster with the smaller portion of data, reducing the consumption of computation resources and licensing costs.

With AI-generated test data, users can accelerate data quality rule creation and streamline rule application with intelligent suggestions and auto-hiding of non-matching rules. It allows rules to be applied faster and reduces unintentional human error, adding to data quality assurance.

“Data leaders are focused on maximizing the power of quality data to boost productivity and support better decision-making across their enterprises. With v15.3, we focused on delivering the tools and functionality our users need to deliver clean data that can generate reliable insights and establish a culture of data trust throughout the business,” said Jessie Smith, VP or Data Quality at Ataccama. “In this release, we’ve focused on what our customers want and what will help them solve real data challenges and automate data tasks for increased efficiency.”

Ataccama’s Revamped Partner Program

These updates come shortly after Ataccama announced new updates to its channel partner program. The updates to this program are meant to target providers looking for data quality solutions to protect clients during AI adoption processes and when completing other transformation projects.

The relaunched program utilizes the existing certification framework with three tiers of certification that a partner must complete before being formally certified to sell Ataccama.

The three tiers of certification include:

  1. Consumer: Intended for business users of the platform or business analysts, this certification covers the basics of using and configuring the tool.
  2. Foundation: This certification tier provides a deeper technical understanding of the tool implementation and is intended for consultants who will be implementing and customizing the platform for their customers.
  3. Expert: This certification tier will launch by the end of 2024 and is intended for use by consultants who wish to have a deeper understanding of implementation with expert level customization knowledge. Meant for consultants who will work on complex implementations for their customers.
