Fujitsu Computer Systems has sign up Seneca Data to distribute its high-performance tablet and convertible PCs.

The agreement will see Seneca Data distribute Fujitsu’s pen-based products to its 4,000 VARs and ISVs in North America. The two companies previously had a reseller agreement where Seneca sold Fujitsu notebooks and tablets to end users.

“The agreement with Seneca Data helps expand the Fujitsu North American channel for our pen-based solutions through a distributor with a strategic vertical focus for mobile products,” said Farhat Ali, President and CEO, Fujitsu Computer Systems, in a statement. “Seneca Data is well aligned with our focus on developing market-specific solutions.”

John Hill, President and CEO of Allegiance Technology Partners, said in a statement: “The agreement between Fujitsu Computer Systems and Seneca Data, two recognized mobile experts, helps streamline our supply chain and provides the channel with more choice and product availability to meet their customers’ needs.”
