Passportal Unveils New Cloud Partner Program
Passportal’s new Cloud Partner Program is designed to allow VARs, managed service providers (MSPs) and independent software vendors (ISVs) to rebrand and resell its cloud-based password protection and management as a service. The programs provide partners with the tools and training required to rebrand and resell the mobile-optimized management-as-a-service.
The program offers three partner tiers: Certified (10+ seats); Select (100+ seats) and Premier Partner (500+ seats). Key features include dedicated Passportal Partner account managers and enablement resources and incentives based on volume such as on-demand webinars, re-brandable marketing resources, sales and technical training, and lead generation and complimentary licenses.
Passportal offers channel partners a fully refundable Passportal Reseller Starter Package, which includes technical and sales training modules, five internal user seats, 10 client-based user seats and a portfolio of white-labeled marketing collateral, including an animated video, presentation slide deck, value positioning product flyers and introductory newsletters.
Ingram Micro Delivers EMV-Compliant Solutions
Ingram Micro expanded its EMV-compliant (Europay, Mastercard and Visa compliant) offerings by adding the ability to load new software and secure key encryption data directly to payment terminals and devices on behalf of its channel partners. The new solutions enable channel partners to more easily address growing demand for chip-and-pin solutions, according to the global IT distributor.
Ingram Micro passed the electronic payment industry’s PCI PIN Security Requirements and Accredited Standards Committee’s TR-39 audit. Together, these new services and authorizations, allow Ingram Micro to provide key injection services in-house at its secure facility located at its distribution center. The global EMV payment standard requires all retailers and other businesses that accept credit and debit cards to be compliant by Oct. 15, 2015.
Quick Heal Inks New Distribution Agreements
Expanding its North American channel program, Quick Heal Technologies, a global IT security provider, signed new distribution agreements with TechWise Networks, Rain Networks and EIGRS. Quick Heal’s SEQRITE network security product line, the foundation of the channel program, targets small and midsize enterprises (SMEs). SEQRITE is available exclusively through the IT channel.
Digium, Global Convergence Extend Distribution Partnership
Digium announced that Global Convergence Inc., a value-added distributor of business telephony and technology products, has joined the Digium Cloud Agent Program as a master agent. The agreement allows Global Convergence partners to expand their portfolios with Digium’s Switchvox Cloud Unified Communications (UC) business phone system and Digium SIP (Session Initiation Protocol) trunking services. Digium offers an “all features included” pricing model for the Switchvox Cloud, making it easier to choose and deploy an advanced business phone system, according to the company.
