Mitel has launched a revamped global partner experience that consolidates its Mitel and Unify partner ecosystems under a single framework.

The Ottawa-based communications company announced the program on June 26, stressing it’s a strategic response to growing market demand for hybrid unified communications and contact center solutions.

Communications market shift drives strategic investment

The development comes as organizations move toward communication strategies that offer greater flexibility and customization. Per Mitel’s research, 92% of IT leaders in the US and Europe are prioritizing hybrid communications.

According to the company, this new strategy will provide the necessary support for its partners as they navigate the complexities surrounding enterprise communications.

The program addresses rising market shifts in business communications as organizations manage AI adoption, data privacy concerns, and security threats.

Companies across various industries are demanding communication strategies that provide greater control and protection for their existing technology investments.

David Petts, Mitel’s chief sales officer, said, “This new global experience demonstrates our commitment to growing with our partners. “By simplifying how we work together and enabling greater scale across SMB, mid-market, and enterprise opportunities, we’re building a channel strategy that’s clear, focused, and built for long-term success.”

Streamlined tools and resources for a global partner base

The partner experience centers on four strategic areas:

  • expanded market focus,
  • innovation and incumbent advantages,
  • a unified global partner program, and
  • simplified partner interactions.

Partners will gain access to a centralized Salesforce Communities portal for deal registration, training materials, and support resources.

Mitel is implementing the rollout in phases throughout 2025, with full integration planned for all partners. The company’s partner community will have access to enhanced marketing programs, sales enablement tools, and cross-sell opportunities, including Mitel CX and Hybrid Zoom Experience solutions.

Companies continue to enhance and refine their partner programs this year to meet the needs of the channel. Catch up on the latest program announcements from Skyhawk Security.
