LabTech Software, developers of a remote monitoring and management solution for managed service providers, announced its integration with Reflexion Networks’ suite of email services to provide an automated way to ensure the integrity and health of hosted email services.

LabTech’s integration monitors the availability of the Reflexion Total Control (RTC) and Reflexion Archiving, Discovery and Recovery (RADAR) services’ user interface, and sends an alert if service is interrupted. LabTech also proactively monitors the latency of the Reflexion mail scanner to help detect inbound or outbound latency, sending an alert if any is found. In this way, service-affecting incidents are identified and steps can be taken to ensure service quality.

Reflexion provides a range of hosted email services. RTC is a hosted email security service that blocks spam, viruses and volume-based attacks before they reach the corporate network. RADAR provides business with a searchable email archive that can be accessed at anytime from anywhere on the Internet.

"We pride ourselves on our working relationships with leading technology partners that enable us to build high-quality offerings to effectively differentiate ourselves from the competition," said David Hughes, president and CEO of Reflexion Networks. "As a leader in remote monitoring and management, LabTech is an ideal solution to integrate with the Reflexion services in order to proactively monitor the health and performance of our range of hosted email services. By creating alerts for IT solutions providers when email systems are facing latency or availability issues, they can better maintain and support these mission-critical applications for MSPs to ensure that they continue to meet their customers’ demands."

Matt Nachtrab, CEO of LabTech, said he views integrations such as the one the company has developed with Reflexion to be a valuable way to extend the value and power of their Remote Monitoring and Management platform with maximum automation and efficiency. "Email remains one of the most important and effective business tools companies have, so working with Reflexion to ensure that email systems remain viable to our MSPs’ customer base allows them to better support those customers in a simple and cost-effective manner,” he said.
