In its drive to assist companies facing compliance with more than 100 national and international rules and regulations, IBM on Monday rolled out three new software packages designed to ease the tracking and management of compliance-related data.

The applications are built around three principal IBM software packages—Content Manager, Tivoli and Lotus Workplace.

The first, called Content Manager for Message Monitoring and Retention, combines Content Manager with iLumin Software Service’s Assentor software to provide a package for managing archived correspondence.

Another bundle announced Monday, Tivoli Security Compliance Manager, scans a company’s servers and PCs to help enforce data access, privacy and auditing controls. The software, due next month, addresses such regulations as the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act.

Finally, IBM enhanced its Lotus Workplace for Business Controls and Reporting software, available now, to reflect updates in the Sarbanes-Oxley Act.
