XOsoft Signs Distribution Agreement with StoneFly

XOsoft of Waltham, Mass., as signed an OEM agreement with San Diego-based StoneFly Networks Inc., a developer of data protection and management solutions based on IP SANs (storage area networks) for small and medium-sized organizations.

Under the terms of the agreement, StoneFly Networks will relicense XOsoft’s WANSync and WANSyncHA software under its own StoneFly Replicator CDP brand, allowing it to bolster the capabilities of its StoneFly Backup Advantage disk-to-disk backup system and provide more comprehensive data protection to its customers.

Bell to Distribute Pillar Axiom Storage Solutions

Bell Microproducts of San Jose, Calif., will distribute San Jose-based Pillar Data Systems’ Pillar Axiom storage solutions to OEMs, VARs and systems integrators.

In addition to the distribution agreement, both companies plan to coordinate the launch of new reseller programs that will help resellers learn more about Pillar’s technology.

InfoNow Announces Channel Management Program

Denver-based InfoNow Corp. has introduced a new system to help its customers compile a more accurate view of its customers and partners that can be used to support real-time marketing, sales, compensation and customer service initiatives.

The Channel Insight Data Quality Service (DQS) processes customer and channel partner information from multiple systems and uses InfoNow’s technology to identify the businesses that make up a company’s customer and partner base. The system then adds market data, such as company size and contact information, from business reference databases, and then links individual data records together according to client business rules. Customers can use that data to populate a data warehouse.

Cloverleaf Passes Interoperability Tests, Joins StorageTek TekAlliance Program

Cloverleaf Communications, a storage networking company based in Southborough, Mass., has announced that its iSN (Intelligent Storage Networking) product has been certified as interoperable with the SANtricity software suite and the StorageTek FlexLine 200 and 300 Series disk storage systems.

Now that iSN has been certified, it can work in concert with StorageTek’s products to provide quality of service in support of service-level agreements while providing modular data protection and disaster recovery services, according to Joseph Klein, co-founder of Cloverleaf.

In addition, Cloverleaf has joined StorageTek’s TekAlliance Partner Program.

Solidcore Signs Two Resellers

Solidcore Systems Inc. of Palo Alto, Calif., has signed both New York-based NH&A and Blue Chip Tek Inc. of Granada Hills, Calif., to its Solidcore Authorized Reseller Program, enabling them to resell Solidcore’s S3 security technology and provide training and integration services.

Bluesocket, Catalyst Telecom Team to Offer Wireless LANs

Bluesocket Inc., a wireless security vendor based in Burlington, Mass., has teamed with Catalyst Telecom, a value-added distributor based in Greenville, S.C., to offer a complete wireless LAN solution.

The combination of the two companies will allow each to benefit from the other’s expertise, resulting in a better ability to support real-time applications with session persistence and reliability. In addition, it will allow Catalyst Telecom to help its resellers enhance their wireless capabilities, according to Buck Baker, the company’s senior vice president of merchandising.
