Security vendor Cynomi, known for its vCISO platform, has announced a new module called Solution Showcase. Now, Cynomi partners can access insights into their clients’ current and future security needs, an offering aimed at helping MSPs and MSSPs grow their revenue and expand their businesses.

Solution Showcase highlights opportunities in current clients

The new offering is a module within Cynomi’s platform that promises to map client needs, identify security gaps, and align existing services with customer requirements. Cynomi says this will provide valuable insight into service utilization, allowing MSPs and MSSPs to understand how their offerings are used and improve customer engagement and retention.

When MSPs and MSSPs leverage this data efficiently, they should be able to identify new cross-sell and up-sell opportunities within their existing customer base. This will unlock new revenue streams and drive value deeper into each customer’s stack.

“Helping our partners bridge security gaps and grow their revenue go hand in hand,” said David Primor, Ph.D., the co-founder and CEO of Cynomi. “The Solution Showcase module is a real differentiator for service providers, transforming cybersecurity assessments into revenue-generating opportunities. As the only platform offering this level of service-to-client mapping, Cynomi is setting a new standard for the MSP and MSSP communities. We’re excited to present this new offering to them.”

Primor told Channel Insider the offering provides key actionable capabilities to partners, including:

  • Deliver Actionable Portfolio Insights – It helps partners understand how their offerings perform within their client base and across specific industries, enabling them to make more strategic portfolio decisions.
  • Drive Deeper Customer Insights – By leveraging existing customer data to highlight gaps in their cybersecurity program, it helps service providers refine their positioning and quickly recognize opportunities.
  • Highlight Relevant Solutions in Real Time – Within the platform, service provider clients can see how their open cybersecurity tasks align with their service provider’s solutions, making it easier to act.

Security remains a top priority for many providers

The module, and much of Cynomi’s entire offering portfolio, aims to address the growing security demand from end users and channel partners. As we have reported many times, security offerings are an area many partners expect to grow this year.

Some, though, still struggle to determine how exactly they can grow their offerings and where that growth will actually benefit their customers.

“The challenge isn’t about technical expertise—our partners have deep knowledge of security needs—but rather about demonstrating the importance of certain cybersecurity gaps and the value of their services in addressing them,” Primor said.

Primor highlights the Solution Showcase as an opportunity for the vendor to better support its partners in leveraging the security space’s opportunities.

“That’s where the Solution Showcase comes in—helping service providers identify where there’s a real need for their services so they can focus on offering the right solutions.,” Primor said. “By providing actionable insights, these features enable service providers to align their offerings and focus more effectively with client needs, ensuring they maximize both their impact and business growth. We’re also enabling service providers to confidently show clients where their needs are met and how their services make a meaningful impact.”

Cynomi continues to innovate and expand its channel presence

The module release follows a busy 2024 for the vendor, who grew its channel presence in the past year by targeting MSPs and MSSPs interested in automating virtual CISO as a service offerings.

Last year, the team added channel veteran Tim Coach as its chief evangelist and, earlier this year, hired Dror Hevlin as its new CISO. The team also launched its vCISO Academy, an education and enablement resource hub for service providers interested in developing enhanced security offerings.

Security is one of several focus areas for channel partners, some of whom become MSSPs to provide their clients with the best possible outcome. Learn about how Omega Systems approaches compliance and security for its customers.
