Cynomi, a vCISO platform provider for MSPs and MSSPs, recently announced the launch of new Business Impact Analysis (BIA) and Business Continuity Planning (BCP) features.

Business resilience the latest focus for Cynomi partners

These new features are meant to help cybersecurity professionals identify and protect mission-critical business processes while enabling service providers to prioritize security efforts effectively, streamline continuity planning, and drive business resilience.

“With the introduction of Business Impact Analysis and Business Continuity Planning, we are giving cybersecurity service providers the tools they need to go beyond defense and actively drive business success,” said David Primor, Ph.D., Co-founder and CEO of Cynomi. “These new capabilities not only help service providers strengthen security strategies, but also empower them to communicate the business value of cybersecurity to leadership.”

The new offerings should provide partners with the following capabilities:

  • BIA: Assists cybersecurity teams in assessing and prioritizing mission-critical business processes, ensuring security efforts align with what matters most.
  • BCP: Enables service providers to create dynamic, data-driven continuity plans without the need for spreadsheets or manual workflows.
  • Integrated risk assessment and remediation mapping: Provides a one-stop solution for identifying risks and implementing mitigation strategies in a seamless workflow.
  • Actionable security insights: Transform security data into strategic conversations, positioning cybersecurity as a business enabler rather than just a compliance requirement.
  • Centralized, automated platform: Eliminate the need for disconnected tools to ensure cybersecurity professionals can efficiently manage risks and resilience in one place.

Cynomi’s recent growth

Recently, Cynomi received a Series B funding round totalling $37 million, led by Insight Partners and Entrée Capital.

Through this funding, Cynomi has taken aim at advancing its platform in two key ways: adding more cutting-edge cybersecurity capabilities and strengthening the ability of service providers to market and deliver security and compliance solutions effectively.

“Cynomi has demonstrated impressive growth and product-market fit in the MSP and MSSP and markets,” said Philine Huizing, managing director at Insight Partners. “The company’s innovative platform and user-centric approach to enabling robust cybersecurity posture and compliance for service providers and their end customers, combined with strong early momentum and customer love, position Cynomi as a clear standout in the cybersecurity market. We look forward to partnering with David and the team on Cynomi’s ongoing expansion and product evolution.”

Cynomi has been adding key solutions to their business to help provide insights to MSPs and MSSPs seeking new revenue and service opportunities. Read more about the addition of their new solution showcase module to security resources.
