ConnectWise, a cybersecurity company offering products and services for MSPs, made a series of announcements at the IT Nation Secure conference.
These announcements include the launch of an integrated cybersecurity and endpoint management solution for MSPs with Pax8 and Microsoft, the newest iteration of ConnectWise SIEM, the launch of PSA powered by Asio, and the introduction of ConnectWise Pro.
ConnectWise, Microsoft, and Pax8 launch new offering
In partnership with Microsoft and Pax8, ConnectWise is launching a new integrated solution designed to help managed service providers (MSPs) deliver secure and efficient IT services to their small- and medium-sized business (SMB) clients.
The ConnectWise Endpoint Management & Security for M365 solution will be available through Pax8 and include ConnectWise RMM Pro, MDR for Microsoft Defender for Endpoint and M365, and the ConnectWise Backup and Security Dashboards. The solution provides MSPs with a turnkey approach to manage, secure, and automate endpoint environments, offering greater visibility and reduced operational overhead. It simplifies procurement, provisioning, and billing through the Pax8 marketplace.
Included in the solution are:
- Microsoft 365 Business Premium: Productivity, security, and compliance features including EDR, mail filtering, vulnerability scanning, SaaS app usage detection, and policy enforcement.
- RMM Pro: Solution that includes intelligent alerts, Intune integration, and basic network monitoring, along with RPA Starter with workflow builder, 24 pre-built templates, and the Hyperautomation dashboard.
- MDR for Microsoft Defender (Endpoint + M365): 24/7 monitoring, detection, and response powered by the ConnectWise SOC.
- ConnectWise Backup and Security Dashboard: A unified view of backup and cybersecurity posture across tools and endpoints, enabling faster, more informed decisions.
“This collaboration reflects the best of what ConnectWise, Microsoft, and Pax8 each bring to the table,” said Manny Rivelo, CEO of ConnectWise. “We’re combining enterprise-grade security, automation, and monitoring into a single, easily consumable solution for MSPs. This is about empowering partners to scale faster, reduce complexity, and deliver real value to their clients in a world of growing cyber threats.”
The next SIEM evolution
ConnectWise also announced the launch of the next evolution of ConnectWise SIEM, an advanced managed Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) solution designed for MSPs.
“With our latest SIEM release, powered by the ConnectWise Asio platform, we’re delivering advanced threat detection, intelligent automation, and full visibility in one streamlined experience,” said Chief Product and Technology Officer David Raissipour. “It’s modern security, built for MSPs.”
Built on the Asio platform, ConnectWise SIEM simplifies threat detection, investigation, and response to boost efficiency and lower costs by unifying security tools into a single solution. The solution features a redesigned interface to integrate with the ConnectWise Security Dashboard.
Among the benefits for MSPs are:
- Reduction in complexity: MSPs can manage logging, threat detection, and response in a single platform. It enables mainstream staff to act as security experts with intuitive, automated security workflows, reducing triage time.
- Lower costs: Incident response time is reduced through the solution, with detection and response to threats sped up. Data ingestion and retention costs are optimized and provide flexible pricing and data tiering to reduce storage and ingestion expenses common in legacy SIEM offerings.
- Boost productivity: Threat detection and response is accelerated by reducing the time that is spent chasing false positives and accelerating incident resolution. It automates alert triage, enrichment, and ticket creation to improve efficiency.
The new features for ConnectWise SIEM to help MSPs safeguard clients across endpoints, applications, and cloud environments include:
- Centralized Monitoring and Advanced Threat Detection: Logs from a user’s IT environment can be consolidated and analyzed for unified visibility, allowing for the detection and prioritization of threats using pre-built rules and machine learning.
- Streamlined Alert Management and Investigation Tools: View and export alert-related data and raw events to enable deeper analysis.
- Automated Reporting and Customizable Dashboards: A feature that allows for generating reports with built-in templates, monitoring key metrics and trends in real time that are tailored to MSP workflows.
PSA powered by Asio
ConnectWise announced two additional significant advancements, with the launch of PSA powered by Asio and ConnectWise Pro.
PSA powered by Asio is an Asio-native evolution of ConnectWise’s professional services automation (PSA) solution. It introduces a fully modernized experience for service desk, finance, and operations teams. It’s engineered with a clean UX, real-time views, and shared platform services.
PSA and Remote Monitoring and Management (RMM) now do the following:
- Operate a common interface and design language across both tools to minimize clicks and drive productivity with teams.
- Operate shared data for companies, contacts, tickets, and assets to eliminate duplicate data, reduce human error, and maximize AI capabilities across the platform.
- Run embedded automation via Sidekick (GenAI) and robotic process automation (RPA), with over 50 prebuilt workflows. Additional workflows are added each month.
- Provide support for multiple languages, an updated calendar, and billing functionality.
“This truly seamless experience helps our partners simplify operations, drive efficiency, and scale faster,” said Rivelo. “With PSA and RMM under Asio, this is a foundational moment for our platform strategy, that delivers a unique experience and prepares our partners for what’s next.”
The solution will be released initially to early partner cohorts in July, with monthly enhancements planned throughout the remainder of 2025.
ConnectWise Pro
A simplified, unified platform packaging offering reimagines how MSPs license and consume core services, ConnectWise Pro bundles critical tools into a single contract with flexible licensing options aligned to how MSPs charge clients.
Among these bundled tools are PSA, RMM, RPA, remote support, documentation, reporting, and Configure, Price, Quote (CPQ) capabilities.
Partners will be able to adopt an end-user pricing model or an endpoint pricing model to simplify business operations and boost customer value.
The platform packaging includes AI-powered automation tools designed to streamline MSP operations with AI-generated scripting through Sidekick for RMM and AI-assisted search capabilities for ConnectWise University and virtual Community resources. It includes the creation of natural language bots through ConnectWise RPA Pro to automate routine MSP tasks and reduce manual workloads.
“ConnectWise Pro is built for the way MSPs operate today,” said Jeff Bishop, EVP of product management at ConnectWise. “It brings simplicity, automation, and scalability into one offering aligned to the way MSPs bill their clients– enabling partners to reduce complexity and focus on delivering great service.”
ConnectWise Pro will be available beginning in July 2025.
