Tech Data Adds McAfee SaaS Offerings to Solutions Store

McAfee will provide its software-as-a-service (SaaS) security offerings to Tech Data’s channel of solution providers through the company’s TDCloud business unit. The cloud-based security offerings, including McAfee’s SaaS Email Protection, SaaS Email Archiving and SaaS Web Protection, will be available through Tech Data’s Solutions Store.

In addition, a dedicated McAfee team at Tech Data offers solution providers an exclusive enablement tool called TDCatalyst. The tool provides customized training and resources to help partners grow their McAfee business and services

Trend Micro Enhances Capabilities for Microsoft Office 365 Customers

Cloud security specialist Trend Micro announced upcoming new and enhanced capabilities for Microsoft Office 365 customers that help protect against targeted attacks and data loss as organizations migrate to the cloud. These enhancements include multi-layered threat and data protection that encompasses endpoints, Web and email.

This new offering works directly with Office 365 using a Microsoft API for Exchange Online, SharePoint Online and OneDrive for Business. These centrally managed solutions will be available as part of the Trend Micro Smart Protection Complete suite to better support channel partners’ ability to sell the company’s additional offerings for Microsoft Office 365.

SAP Integrates Business Applications for CSPs

SAP has integrated its automated predictive analytics software, InfiniteInsight, with SAP Customer Engagement Intelligence powered by SAP HANA. These offerings provide businesses with simplified processes for analyzing and targeting customers, in addition to building models faster and more accurately, the company said.

Understanding customer preferences and responding in real time are critical for communications service providers (CSPs), and with the integration of SAP’s predictive modeling and customer engagement solutions, CSPs are expected to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of their marketing, sales and service organizations to better deliver personalized services, added SAP. Customers will be able to access and run the entire process on SAP HANA either on premise or via the cloud.

Sonian Partners With TeamCentric Technologies

Sonian, a provider of cloud-based data archiving, has announced a reseller partnership with TeamCentric Technologies, an IBM partner. The reseller partnership will strengthen TeamCentric’s current Application Catalog, expanding its technology offerings with Sonian’s Central Archive product while expanding Sonian’s reach to IBM Notes users looking for a product to archive their Notes mail securely in the cloud.

The Central Archive offering is tailored to archive IBM Notes (formerly Lotus Notes) and IBM Domino (formerly Lotus Domino) mail to the Amazon cloud. Sonian’s scalable Central Archive costs 99 cents to the end user, per mailbox per month.

TeamCentric’s customizable business apps, designed to improve productivity and automate processes, can be run in any environment and accessed through an IBM Notes client, Web browser and through a mobile device.

Webroot Unveils New Reseller Program

Webroot, a provider of cloud-based, real-time Internet threat detection, unveiled the new Webroot Channel Edge Reseller Program. The revamped partner program enables Webroot to provide market-specific tools and resources to help its global network of value-added resellers (VARs), distributors, service providers and systems integrators to increase their close rate and grow their business.

As part of the company’s increased channel focus and growth strategy in the small and midsize business (SMB) segment, the program allows all partners to access its Channel Edge Partner Toolkit, including Web Content Syndication, Resource Center and Social Syndication, that provides support throughout every stage of the sales cycle.

Partners that attain Elite status will receive added benefits, including qualified sales leads, speaking engagements and joint seminars, market expansion programs, sales incentives and a dedicated channel account manager.

CyrusOne Teams With Unleashed Technologies

CyrusOne, a global data center services provider, has added Unleashed Technologies, a WostingSM firm with Web and hosting expertise, as a new customer and channel partner.

Unleashed Technologies operates as a single-source provider for enterprise technology and design solutions for large and small clients and provides technical expertise, Web development and design capabilities, and right-sized hosting.

Unleashed Technologies is locating with CyrusOne at the CyrusOne Austin II Data Center in the Met Center business park. The approximately 65,000-square-foot Austin II co-location facility is the first of a potential four-phase, 290,000-square-foot data center campus.
