Carahsoft Technology, a government IT solutions provider, has recently announced two partnerships aimed at accelerating the federal government’s adoption of quantum-resilient and crypto-agile cybersecurity solutions, as well as enhancing public sector security operations through hyperautomation.
These announcements include teaming with post-quantum cryptography leader QuSecure and autonomous security operations provider Torq.
Transforming quantum resiliency
Through its partnership with QuSecure, Carahsoft will be QuSecure’s Master Government Aggregator to assist in making QuSecure’s products available to the public sector through Carahsoft’s reseller partners, AWS Marketplace, and NASA Solutions for Enterprise-Wide Procurement (SEWP) V, IT Enterprise Solutions – Software 2 (ITES-SW2), and OMNIA Partners contracts.
“With the help of Carahsoft’s world-class sales, marketing, reseller, and integrator ecosystem, we are accelerating our mission to provide the public sector with solutions that protect their most critical assets from emerging AI and quantum threats,” said Rebecca Krauthamer, co-founder and CEO at QuSecure. “QuProtect is an all-in-one network security solution designed t o empower cybersecurity leaders with a flexible and resilient framework.”
QuSecure enables government agencies to remain compliant with quantum mandates and regulatory requirements while securing critical data against AI and quantum computing threats. It also does not disrupt communication or uptime.
“The platform seamlessly guides organizations through every stage, from discovery to remediation, enabling effortless crypto-agility while ensuring robust protection,” said Krauthamer. “Administrators gain full control over cryptography algorithms, enabling them to establish a strategic cybersecurity framework tailored to the unique needs of their organization. Compliant with the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) and the Quantum Computing Cyber Security Preparedness Act, QuProtect ensures alignment with industry standards while offering robust protection against evolving threats.”
Boosting security operations through hyperautomation
Carahsoft’s partnership with Torq will see the former serve as the latter’s public sector distributor, ensuring Torq’s hyperautomation solutions are available through Carahsoft’s reseller partners and SEWP V, The Interlocal Purchasing System (TIPS), National Association of State Procurement Officials (NASPO) ValuePoint, E&I Cooperative Services Contract, and The Quilt contracts.
“Torq is proud to partner with Carahsoft, a trusted solutions provider for public sector federal, state, and local government and education institutions,” said Sheldon Muir, Torq’s head of global channels and alliances. “Our strong collaboration leverages Carahsoft’s expertise and Torq’s innovative automation technology, driving a robust go-to-market strategy through aligned sales and marketing efforts.”
The partnership will expand the Torq Hyperautomation Platform’s footprint, which automates, manages, and monitors critical SOC responses at machine speed.
Carahsoft and Torq’s joint customers will benefit from Torq’s Natural Language Processing (NLP) capabilities that initiate and accelerate security event investigation, triage, and remediation at scale, deliver comprehensive case management capabilities, and automate complex processes.
Torq Hyperautomation enables customers’ analysts to focus on high-value security initiatives and innovation through alert management and response optimization.
“As organizations face increasingly complex cyber threats, the need for intelligent, automated solutions has never been greater,” said Brian O’Donnell, VP of cybersecurity solutions at Carahsoft. “This partnership provides public sector customers with a powerful new platform to enhance their security posture with greater speed and efficiency. Carahsoft and our resellers are dedicated to transforming security operations for government agencies and enterprises through partnerships like Torq.”
