Novigi, the Wollongong-headquartered consultancy and managed services provider, has announced three appointments to its leadership team. All three are massively credentialed and experienced professionals in the sector.

Anita Owen has been appointed the company’s executive general manager of consulting for professional services. This is a newly-created role for the industry veteran. Owen has over 18 years of experience in leading transformative exercises, and was previously the Director of Transformation Delivery at KPMG.

Meanwhile, Charlotte Marra and Martin Roberts have both been hired as principal consultants, specialising in cloud and machine learning technology.

Marra has 19 years of experience across roles in Deloitte Consulting, Google, and IBM.

Roberts has more than 20 years of experience in data roles, and was previously the Principle Data Scientist at NEOM and GASTAT.

Ash Priest, the CEO of Novigi, said that the company was scaling with a focus on data and technology in financial services, particularly in the superannuation industry.

“Anita and Charlotte’s appointments also reflect our commitment to enhancing female leadership diversity as a key part of our business strategy. We are firm in our belief that broad representation at all levels is a key driver of commercial success, and this includes building a balanced and inclusive leadership team,” he added.

A fast-growing company to watch

Earlier this year, Novigi announced the acquisition of QMV Solutions, a group of companies and consultancies focused on superannuation, wealth management, and technology. That acquisition included Investigate DQ, which was billed as a “market-leading data quality software.”

Novigi subsequently closed the legal arm of the QMV brand, QMV Legal, but otherwise retained the talent from the QMV acquisition.

In November 2023, Novigi was recognised as one of Australia’s fastest-growing companies, appearing 19th on the AFR Fast 100. Since being opened in 2016, Novigi has grown to have more than 220 employees across three Australian offices (Wollongong, Sydney, and Melbourne). The company also has an office in Colombo, Sri Lanka.

In addition to growing quickly, Novigi seems focused on being a good employer, and has achieved Great Place to Work certification.
