Three-tier program introduces rewards structure tied to growth
The redesigned three-tier program rewards MSPs based partly on their growth rate and commitment to the vendor, potentially giving smaller but fast-growing partners access to benefits that have traditionally been reserved for larger providers.
These tiers include:
- DNSFilter Select Partner: Partners in this tier get immediate access to our multi-tenant platform and the DNSFilter Partner Edge Portal, white-label campaign assets, self-paced training, and volume-based pricing with no application form, no approval queue, and no long-term contract standing between them and a security layer clients will feel.
- DNSFilter Accelerator Partner: This tier is attained by invitation or application and is designed for MSPs committed to growing their security services practice. Accelerator Partners receive a named account manager, sales engineer support for demos and POCs, co-marketing resources backed by MDF investment, and a dedicated annual business review so growth conversations are grounded in actual numbers, not guesswork.
- DNSFilter Strategic Partner: The organization’s deepest commitment and reserved for partners going “all-in” on security services growth. It includes customer enablement, joint selling motions, co-branded/white-label marketing, ongoing MDF, and a dedicated DNSFilter team aligned to the partners’ revenue goals.

What prompted DNSFilter to expand its MSP Partner Program at this point?
MSPs face a harsh commercial reality. According to our 2026 MSP Research, 85 percent of MSP leaders admit there is a security capability they cannot effectively deliver today as they spend more time stitching tools together than stopping threats.
Many of these same leaders further cite challenges with growing security revenue that stem from security tool licensing costs, unmanageable tech stacks, and training overheads.
We recognize that when we prioritize helping partners succeed, more businesses are effectively protected as a result. As such, we’ve expanded our MSP Partner Program so that we can continue meeting MSPs where they’re at and provide deeper support for those growing their security practice.
Can you walk us through the thinking behind the new three-tier program structure and how each tier aligns with an MSP’s stage of growth?
The whole idea around our first three-tiered program is that most vendors, us included, price better as they scale. We reward how fast a partner grows, and as noted, we structured the program to meet MSPs where they are.
Strategic partners, our highest tier, and mid-tier Accelerator partners gain access to more margin, Market Development Funds (MDF), and a dedicated strategic account manager who builds a real go-to-market plan with them. Our program also features new ways to drive security revenue and introduces a new opt-out campaign to help MSPs roll out DNS filtering across their entire book of business.
As far as reaching the next tier, the new DNSFilter MSP Partner Program is focused on two levels, and they work together. The first is commitment. Are you leaning in? Are you running joint co-marketing with us? Are you investing in the certification and training that makes your team sharper at selling and supporting security? Partners who do that and more are telling us they’re serious about growing with us. The second is numbers-based, and we keep those simple. Growth rate with DNSFilter is the big one, because the whole program rewards how fast you grow, not how big you already are. Spend sits right alongside it.
A partner who’s growing fast and putting real commitment behind it moves up. The behaviors and the measurables are both things you can see and act on, so you always know what it takes to reach the next tier.
The press release mentions DNSFilter’s acquisition of Zorus and the launch of CyberSight. How do those investments complement the new partner program?
Last year, we made our largest MSP investment to date, acquiring Zorus and launching CyberSight, our new user analytics behavior functionality. These moves laid the foundation for our partners to have access to even more features and security services offerings. Zorus took an MSP-first approach, with enhanced endpoint filtering technology and insightful user behavior analytics, which integrated with our robust AI-based threat efficacy and resilient global network – creating deeper commitment to our MSPs’ needs.
As we support partners who are growing their security services practice, CyberSight complements the new program as our partners look for ways to drive security revenue. Our 2026 MSP Research found that 47 percent of MSP leaders cannot effectively deliver security posture reporting for compliance or cyber insurance purposes, the second-largest capability gap in the market. CyberSight addresses this gap they are seeing by showing our MSPs how identities actually use the internet, which surfaces the shadow IT and shadow AI they can advise clients on. As a result, we are seeing a number of partners packaging it as an add-on.
You’ve described this as putting “more resources, more people, and more structure” behind growing partners. What does that look like in practice?
Today, more than 6,000 MSPs use DNSFilter, and our partners are central to how we go to market. This new enhanced MSP Partner Program builds on our existing foundation to match the level of investment DNSFilter makes to the level of commitment an MSP brings. This new program was designed with growth structure in mind: standardized pricing, volume-based discounts, practical enablement, and deeper sales, marketing, and account support as the partnership scales.
We are dedicated to offering our partners the necessary level of resources and tools in a more structured manner to address the full range of security and operational challenges MSPs face every day, whether they are defending against phishing, managing hybrid workforces, or accelerating incident response.
What message would you give to MSPs that have been considering making DNSFilter a larger part of their security stack?
MSPs are vital for ensuring cybersecurity protection gets delivered to the businesses that need it most, and DNS protection is a crucial first layer of those defenses. Our partner program reinforces this model with the right pricing, support, and tooling to help our partners deliver comprehensive security services based on their current growth goals.
Our team understands how MSPs operate, what their clients need, and how to build programs that help MSPs provide managed security services through reliable protection, a management experience built for multi-tenant environments, and a collaborative support team.
What’s one thing you hope current and prospective MSP partners take away from this announcement?
Our goal is simple: to help MSPs protect more clients without growing cost and workload at the same rate. This enhanced program is just the latest move in our ongoing commitment to give our MSP partners the most comprehensive threat protection available to safeguard their clients’ environments. With that said, the main take away from this announcement is two fold: that MSPs see us as more than just a software vendor and as a true partner in their growth mission, and to reinforce the importance of DNS layer security as a key part of end client protection.
