Blue Mantis announced this week that it has acquired Coreio in a deal expected to close in the third quarter of 2025.
Acquisition expands Blue Mantis’ Canadian footprint
Coreio is a boutique services provider headquartered in Toronto, with team members employed across North America. The company delivers full-service IT solutions, including ServiceNow consulting and implementation, IT asset lifecycle management, cybersecurity, and service desk operations.
“Coreio’s strong reputation and proven team in Canada give us immediate market credibility and ensure a seamless experience for their existing customers, who will now have access to Blue Mantis’ broader portfolio, including advanced cybersecurity and AI enablement,” Blue Mantis CEO Joshua Dinneen told Channel Insider in a statement.
“Joining forces with Blue Mantis is a natural evolution for Coreio,” said Rob Muroff, CEO of Coreio. “We share a common vision of delivering transformative IT solutions that drive real business outcomes. Our combined capabilities will empower clients to modernize faster, operate more securely, and unlock the full potential of their ServiceNow investments.”
Muroff will now serve as Blue Mantis’ general manager of Canadian operations, signaling a further commitment to the country’s market.
“This acquisition builds on Blue Mantis’ momentum as a trusted partner for midmarket enterprises. It allows us to expand and diversify our delivery while keeping the customer experience front and center. Our mission remains the same: to help organizations securely modernize their businesses with the expertise, scale, and flexibility they need in today’s fast-changing environment,” Dinneen said.
Midmarket orgs increasingly dedicated to ServiceNow ecosystem
Blue Mantis says the acquisition will enhance its ability to serve midmarket organizations, which are increasingly relying on ServiceNow, within their preferred ecosystem.
“Over the past several years, we’ve seen demand accelerate for managed services in cybersecurity, cloud modernization, and ServiceNow. At the same time, customers have been asking us for both deeper expertise and more flexible delivery models,” Dinneen said. “With Coreio, we’re able to meet that demand head-on by expanding into the Canadian market, strengthening our ServiceNow practice, and adding nearshore capabilities that complement our existing onshore and offshore models.”
According to Forrester, ServiceNow’s midmarket offerings are growing at a compound annual rate of 18 percent. With around one-third of Coreio’s total business driven by ServiceNow, according to information provided by the companies, Blue Mantis is adding depth and breadth to its offerings.
Alignment across complementary offerings and tech ecosystems also touted
In addition to the ServiceNow capabilities and expanded presence in Canada, both companies state that the deal will enhance the customer experience and continue to support growth.
The combined organization also enhances Blue Mantis’ nearshore delivery capabilities, offering clients across North America cost-effective and scalable service options that complement its established offshore delivery in India. Coreio’s existing customers, in turn, should benefit from a broader range of digital transformation services, including security, cloud, and data analytics.
Additionally, both providers have built deep partnerships with IT vendors and channel distributors, including Arctic Wolf, ServiceNow, Ingram Micro, Fortinet, VMware, and others, according to a press statement. The combined entity will continue to leverage those relationships as Blue Mantis supports its customers and partners.
“For partners, this combination unlocks new opportunities as well. Coreio’s ServiceNow expertise deepens our ability to co-sell and co-deliver solutions that customers are asking for today. And with recurring services now making up more than 60% of our business, we’re aligning incentives and enablement around growing those managed services in ways that drive more margin and value for our channel ecosystem,” Dinneen said.
Coreio is the latest in a string of Blue Mantis M&A activity
Blue Mantis is no stranger to building through acquisition. In 2025 alone, the provider has added the following companies:
- TELigence Partners
- Brevin Systems
- Calkins Networks
- North Shore Data Services
In May, we talked with then-CRO Terry Richardson about the company’s acquisition strategies in two interviews, including an episode of CI:PPOV with Katie Bavoso.
“When we recapitalized with our equity partner in 2024, we set out an aggressive revenue target to reach over the next several years,” he told us at the time. “We’re planning to reach that with a mix of inorganic and organic growth.”
Richardson announced his retirement from Blue Mantis in July.
