GTT Communications Inc., a networking and security services provider for multinational organizations, and Insight Enterprises, an AI-enabled solutions integrator, recently announced the deployment of a new AI factory for GTT.

Scalable AI infrastructure and accelerated innovation now available

The AI factory, built on Dell PowerEdge servers with the NVIDIA accelerated computing platform, is designed to accelerate AI in product innovation, customer experience, and employee productivity with Insight and NVIDIA.

GTT, NVIDIA, Dell, and Insight have worked together to design and implement GTT’s new, scalable AI infrastructure and architecture to enhance the GTT customer experience, create operational efficiencies for GTT employees, and launch new data-driven products.

“True digital transformation isn’t about technology alone; it’s about integrating the right tools into a strategic framework that delivers tangible business outcomes,” said Joyce Mullen, president and CEO at Insight. “Our collaboration with GTT, Dell, and NVIDIA is a prime example of how we help clients accelerate their ambitions. With our support in integrating a complex ecosystem of hardware, software, and services, GTT is rapidly moving from AI-enabled vision to production-ready value, creating a powerful competitive advantage.”

Dell PowerEdge servers, NVIDIA computing, and more build the basis of offering

This collaboration combines GTT’s approach with a technology stack that features Dell PowerEdge servers, NVIDIA accelerated computing, NVIDIA networking, NVIDIA AI Enterprise software, and Insight’s integration expertise to support GTT’s AI strategy that includes:

  • Transforming the customer experience and expectation of the service provider industry.
  • Accelerating new product innovation via AI-driven insights.
  • Scaling employee productivity via generative and agentic AI.

“The three pillars of our AI strategy are driving a paradigm shift for networking and security as a service,” said Fletcher Keister, GTT’s chief product and technology officer. “Insight’s NVIDIA expertise and integration capabilities were critical in accelerating our journey. They ensured we had the right solution in place to scale our AI initiatives on NVIDIA’s industry-leading platform of enterprise solutions.”

According to GTT, this initiative has enabled them to build a clear road map for embedding AI throughout both its product development process and end-to-end customer experience life cycle.

Andrea Genschaw named new CFO

This partnership news comes on the heels of GTT making a significant C-suite move by adding a new chief financial officer (CFO).

Andrea Genschaw, formerly the chief accounting officer and controller at Lumen Technologies, is joining the organization as CFO. She brings over two decades of financial leadership experience to the position and has led global accounting and finance operations, business intelligence, investment management, financial reporting, and compliance at Lumen.

“I am incredibly excited to join GTT at this transformational time and look forward to working with the team to support our key initiatives,” said Genschaw. “GTT has tremendous opportunities ahead, and I look forward to supporting our customers and partners to build upon our long-standing commitment to innovation and operational excellence.”

A recent GTT survey found that there’s a rising demand for private cloud, driven by security, compliance, and AI. Uncover more insights from this report and how private cloud offers partners new opportunities to guide migration.
