ESET has revamped its ESET PROTECT portfolio with three new security tiers designed to help channel partners shift from selling standalone cybersecurity products toward recurring, service-based security offerings.

The updated portfolio combines MDR, AI security, ransomware and phishing protection, and additional services, including guided onboarding, cybersecurity awareness training, and a cyber warranty that provides up to $1 million in coverage.

ESET shifts PROTECT toward cybersecurity as a service

The ESET PROTECT portfolio helps channel partners move from selling cybersecurity products to delivering cybersecurity outcomes by reducing cyber risk, simplifying security operations, improving cyber-insurance readiness, and boosting resilience.

“Today’s reimagined portfolio is more than a product update; it is a shift toward a cybersecurity-as-a-service model that enables channel partners to scale and remain profitable as threat surfaces expand,” said Ryan Grant, Country Manager, U.S. and Canada, at ESET North America.

The ESET PROTECT portfolio is offered in three tiers:

  • ESET PROTECT Core: This tier establishes a new baseline of protection for all customers by securing their AI stacks, while also protecting against ransomware and phishing. It offers comprehensive protection against zero-day threats.
  • ESET PROTECT Premium: This tier enables autonomous MDR response to stop threats, deliver high-value threat monitoring, and contain service supervised by ESET security experts 24/7.
  • ESET PROTECT Ultimate: The highest tier provides managed detection and response for advanced environments, enabling live contact with ESET’s threat-hunting team. It delivers threat analysis and remediation as an enterprise-grade solution.

“We worked closely with our partners to create offerings that transform their businesses into trusted security advisors – driving recurring revenue, stronger customer relationships, and long-term growth,” Grant said. “This launch empowers the channel to confidently guide customers in an AI era and defend against zero days with 24/7 monitoring, automated threat containment, AI security features, and real experts behind it – all without the overhead.”

Plus packages add email, MFA, and vulnerability protection

“Plus” packages are available at each tier for customers looking for multi-attack vector protection.

These packages support email security, MFA, vulnerability, and patch management.

Customers can choose the tier and plus package that meets their unique needs, based on SMB requirements. The tiers include:

  • MDR Guided Onboarding: This tier helps customers move from purchase to protection faster, while ensuring deployments are aligned with ESET best practices. It reduces setup complexity and implementation risk, enabling organizations to realize the benefits of MDR.
  • ESET Cybersecurity Awareness Training: Enables companies with online resources to educate, test, and improve the cyber resilience of employees. It is designed to meet NIS2, HIPAA, PCI, SOX, GDPR, and CCPA compliance requirements, as well as insurance requirements.
  • Cyber Warranty: In partnership with Cysurance, this warranty provides an added layer of financial and operational assurance to ESET customers. It offers financial coverage up to $1 million USD for ESET customers.

The portfolio will be available first to channel partners and customers in the U.S., Italy, and Slovakia. It will be made available in other global markets after a phased rollout.

“This new portfolio reflects our long-term commitment to closing the AI security gap and ensuring that security remains central to AI innovation,” said Grant. “By combining advanced AI capabilities with human oversight, we aim to help the channel and their customers adopt AI safely and confidently.”
