Dyna Software has made Platform Copilot generally available, expanding its use of AI to help ServiceNow teams design, build, test, and review configurations from business requirements.
First introduced at Knowledge 2026, Platform Copilot connects to a customer’s ServiceNow development instance and can generate workflows, forms, applications, and other configurations from natural-language requirements and visual inputs.
The general availability release also introduces a redesigned interface intended to make generated work easier for ServiceNow teams to review.

Platform Copilot turns requirements into ServiceNow configurations
Platform Copilot is designed to address the process between receiving a business request and implementing it in ServiceNow.
Users can describe requirements in natural language or provide inputs such as Visio diagrams and whiteboard images. The platform then examines the existing ServiceNow instance and generates proposed configurations based on those requirements.
Teams can preview the proposed work in ServiceNow before applying changes and refine the output before it enters the normal release process.
“ServiceNow teams typically have a sizable list of design/build requests from within their organizations, but have limited capacity to execute in a timely fashion,” said Ron Browning, chief executive officer and co-founder of Dyna Software.
“As a result, valuable requests get stuck between the people who request the upgrades and the people who can deliver them.”
Browning said Platform Copilot is intended to help teams spend less time working through those backlogs and more time creating requested services.
ServiceNow instance context adds governance controls
Dyna is positioning Platform Copilot as a ServiceNow-specific engineering tool rather than a general-purpose AI assistant.
The platform incorporates information from a customer’s existing ServiceNow environment, including application and configuration standards, access controls, and workflow dependencies. Proposed changes remain subject to preview and human review before deployment.
Other capabilities include:
- Generation of ServiceNow configurations and workflows from natural-language requirements and visual prompts.
- Live previews of proposed configurations in ServiceNow before changes are applied.
- Generation and execution of Automated Test Framework (ATF) tests for configurations.
- Sensitive-field protections and other safeguards based on the ServiceNow schema.
- Maintenance of interaction and change histories across users and projects for auditing.
- Support for analysts, designers, and business teams to describe requested solutions without writing code.
AI development could change ServiceNow partner delivery
For ServiceNow consulting and implementation partners, the potential impact extends beyond internal development productivity. A tool that can translate customer requirements into proposed workflows and configurations could reduce some of the engineering work required to move from discovery and design into implementation.
That could be particularly relevant for partners managing multiple ServiceNow environments or recurring customer development requests. Rather than replacing the review and deployment process, Platform Copilot is designed to automate portions of the build and testing work while keeping proposed changes subject to human review.
Dyna expands its AI development governance strategy
Dyna also claims Platform Copilot can support prototyping and production-ready builds in up to 80% less time. The company did not provide methodology or benchmark details for that figure in its announcement.
The launch follows Dyna’s September addition of source control management to GuardRails, which brought version history, change tracking, structured code review, and automated deployment capabilities to ServiceNow.
The company has positioned those controls around maintaining governance as AI-assisted development increases.
