Cavelo recently announced the debut of Cavelo Flash, a new prospecting tool to help MSPs and MSSPs accelerate growth with fast, agentless risk posture assessments.
Cavelo Flash promises DSPM solution with the speed and cost efficiency MSPs need
The new tool features modern DSPM capabilities, enabling service providers to assess and communicate insights and tangible recommendations faster, easier, and more cost-effectively.
“Cavelo Flash is not just a scan – it’s a business accelerator,” said James Mignacca, CEO at Cavelo.
“For service providers operating under tool fragmentation and alert fatigue, Flash offers a fast lane to demonstrate value and build trust. Unlike legacy risk assessment processes, Cavelo Flash lets you deliver maximum value without a heavy lift,” Mignacca continued.
Among the key capabilities of the Flash tool are:
- Vulnerability Management: The tool can identify and prioritize weaknesses before attackers can exploit them.
- Data Discovery and Classification: Automatically locates and categorizes sensitive data in high-risk environments for complete visibility and control.
- Configuration Management: Detects and corrects misconfigurations to strengthen compliance and reduce the overall attack surface.
Cavelo touts benefits to partners as providers seek ways to win and retain customers in 2026
Further, Cavelo Flash helps MSPs and MSSPs demonstrate value, win and retain business, and create a clear path to full DSPM capabilities with the full Cavelo 360 platform.
“Our channel partners have told us they need a frictionless way to generate meaningful risk insights, something to get them into customer conversations quickly, without long deployment time or heavy integration,” said Larry Meador, channel chief at Cavelo.
“Cavelo Flash is built to answer that need. It gives MSPs a ready-to-go solution to generate business, while preserving the path to full and continuous DSPM management via Cavelo 360,” Meador continued.
Refocusing on the channel
Last year, Meador told Channel Insider at ChannelCon that the organization was rethinking how they spoke about themselves as their platform expands.
“We’re actually kind of in the midst of reframing how we talk about ourselves, simply because we do so much,” Meador told Channel Insider. “We have a singular platform that does many different things. Basically, at the core, how do you protect what you often can’t see?”
Cavelo shifted to a 100 percent channel-only model in 2024, and in 2025, it saw a steady increase in its partner base.
Meador said that many companies are still unaware of where most of their sensitive data is stored and who has access to it.
“We help MSPs triage, because at any given moment there’s tens of thousands of CVEs and MSPs can drive themselves crazy trying to stay on top of it all,” Meador said at the time. “We help them prioritize and add in the IBM cost of breach data analysis so MSPs can put real-world dollar figures on the exposure their clients might have.”
