Barracuda Networks, Inc., a cybersecurity company, is launching Barracuda Assistant, powered by Barracuda AI and integrated into the BarracudaONE cybersecurity platform.

AI-enabled tool promises faster security response times and increased efficiency

The Barracuda Assistant speeds security operations, helping organizations strengthen cyber resilience and drive productivity and return on investment.

The solution enables customers and MSPs to easily navigate threats, troubleshoot issues, and access actionable insights. IT delivers real-time, data-driven guidance that boosts cyber resilience and accelerates response.

“Cyberattacks are growing more sophisticated and relentless, and security teams are under immense pressure to respond faster with fewer resources,” said Brian Downey, vice president of product management at Barracuda. “Barracuda Assistant empowers users of all skill levels to investigate threats quickly and confidently, even in the face of complex attacks. We’re helping organizations close critical skills gaps, reduce human error, and simplify security workflows that have traditionally been time-consuming and fragmented. This innovation gives businesses the tools they need to strengthen resilience, accelerate response, and stay ahead of an ever-evolving threat landscape.”

Unified interface experience brings metrics and contexts into one view for security teams

The solution enables organizations to utilize deployment metrics and configuration recommendations from a single, intuitive interface. It accelerates threat response by reducing investigation time, cutting costly errors, and streamlining workflows. It eliminates disruptive context switching, allowing security teams to transition effortlessly between vulnerability assessments and incident reviews.

“Barracuda Assistant delivers immediate, actionable, guidance, practical use cases and direct links to helpful how-to- resources– so even junior staff can move from questions to action quickly and with measurable impact,” said Colin Petty, IT director at Gridworks. “It’s the latest example of how Barracuda continues to innovate its user-friendly BarracudaONE platform to empower IT and security teams to act decisively and with confidence.”

The Barracuda Assistant uses a continuous stream of real-time insights to ensure every recommendation, alert, and response reflects the latest threat patterns, attack vectors, and proven best practices.

“Barracuda Assistant is like having a seasoned security professional on demand, delivering confidence and speed when every second counts,” said Jon Le Roi, IT director at The Mendocino Family of Companies. “With real-time, actionable insights and clear direction, Barracuda Assistant empowers our team to work smarter, respond faster, and maintain a proactive, resilient security posture.”

The Barracuda Assistant is now available within BarracudaONE for customers and channel partners, and will soon be available through Barracuda XDR, Barracuda SecureEdge, and the support portal.

Barracuda recently added PSA integrations to BarracudaONE for faster email threat response, PSA billing automation, and unified security. Learn more about these new enhancements for helping MSPs improve security operations.
