SentinelOne, an AI-powered cybersecurity platform, recently announced an original equipment manufacturer (OEM) partnership with OPSWAT, a provider of critical infrastructure protection, to integrate their capabilities into OPSWAT’s Metascan Multiscanning technology.

Added security capabilities meet demand for on-prem and cloud environments

Through this collaboration, enterprises will be enabled to combat modern cyber threats with improved precision and speed, thanks to enhanced malware detection protection across all platforms.

“Our collaboration with OPSWAT reflects a shared commitment to strengthening cybersecurity through innovation,” said Melissa K. Smith, the VP of strategic technology partnerships and initiatives at SentinelOne. “Integrating SentinelOne’s AI detections strengthens Metascan’s multilayered defense, giving our customers faster, smarter protection against today’s most sophisticated threats.”

SentinelOne’s AI/ML detection capabilities will now be a part of OPSWAT’s Metascan Multiscanning, which will provide the following benefits:

  • Enhanced detection accuracy with AI capabilities.
  • Cross-platform functionality that supports Windows and Linux deployments.
  • Improved ransomware and zero-day threat defense with autonomous, cloud-independent operation.

The SentinelOne and OPSWAT integration enables malware detection through simultaneous scanning with over 30 leading anti-malware engines, utilizing signatures, heuristics, and machine learning techniques to achieve over 99 percent detection accuracy.

“OPSWAT’s mission is to ensure the secure and compliant flow of data across the world’s critical infrastructure,” said Tom Mullen, the SVP of business development of OPSWAT. “Integrating SentinelOne’s AI detections strengthens Metascan’s multilayered defense, giving our customers faster, smarter protection against today’s most sophisticated threats.”

The integration will be available immediately as part of the latest Metascan Multiscanning. It will support OPSWAT products, both on-premises and in the cloud, including MetaDefender Core, MetaDefender ICAP Server, and MetaDefender Kiosk.

SentinelOne Global Partner Program

This new collaboration follows the recent launch of SentinelOne’s Global PartnerOne Program, a partner program designed to enhance partners’ go-to-market success and accelerate growth.

“Partners are at the core of our mission to deliver cutting-edge cybersecurity solutions,” said Brian Lanigan, the SVP and global head of partner ecosystem at SentinelOne. “With the Global PartnerOne Program, we are creating an ecosystem that fosters long-term success by empowering partners to expand their market presence, increase customer satisfaction, and maximize profitability.”

Through this program, partners will have access to the tools, technology, and support necessary to scale and explore new market opportunities.

Whether the partner sells solutions, delivers managed services, builds integrations, or offers hands-on expertise, they will be provided incentives to build towards success.
