Passpack, a leader in end-to-end encrypted password management and secure credential sharing, has announced a significant upgrade to its Managed Service Provider (MSP) Partner Program.

The expansion includes EU-based data residency through its Amsterdam data center, a formalized tiered structure, expanded commercial benefits, and a suite of MSP-specific capabilities designed to help providers reduce credential risk across client environments while building recurring revenue.

Amsterdam data center supports EU data residency

According to Passpack, the announcement addresses a growing challenge in the MSP market, with technicians routinely managing thousands of client credentials across dispersed teams.

The company said this volume increases the risks associated with poor offboarding, inadequate access controls, and limited audit visibility, which have become material liabilities for providers and their clients alike.

Despite this, Passpack said most available solutions were designed for enterprise IT departments rather than the multi-client environments MSPs manage daily, leaving providers reliant on documentation platforms and password managers that were never intended for secure credential operations.

MSPs face growing credential management risks

To help address compliance and data governance concerns, the upgraded program introduces EU-based data residency through Passpack’s Amsterdam data center.

The company said this helps keep customer data, particularly for MSPs serving European clients, within Europe and supports compliance with regional data protection requirements, including the GDPR.

“MSPs need a credential management solution that fits how they actually operate, not a watered-down enterprise tool that creates more complexity than it solves,” said Chris Skipworth, chief executive officer at Passpack.

“This program upgrade is about giving MSP partners a clear path to value, with faster deployment, better margins, and the kind of credential control that holds up under cyber insurance scrutiny and client audits.”

Partner program adds credential controls and audit logging

The upgraded program gives MSP partners access to a credential management platform featuring secure client vaults, technician-level access controls, zero-trust credential sharing, and comprehensive audit logging, all of which can be deployed across client environments in as little as one day.

The tiered partner structure also introduces recurring revenue opportunities through a land-and-expand pricing model that allows MSPs to onboard clients gradually without high upfront costs.

New partners can begin with free internal use and limited client deployments, enabling hands-on evaluation before a broader rollout.

Beyond the core program structure, partners can also access prebuilt migration templates and dedicated onboarding support designed to accelerate client deployment.

Passpack also offers audit-ready reporting and credential visibility tools, giving MSPs clearer documentation of access controls, activity logs, and offboarding actions to support client security reviews and internal governance requirements.

Passpack targets growth through MSP partnerships

Passpack said it plans to deepen its presence in established MSP communities through participation in industry forums, integration into MSP marketplaces such as Pax8, and strategic alliances with cyber insurance and compliance service providers.

The program is initially targeted at small- to mid-sized providers, particularly those operating in security- and compliance-sensitive segments where the need for structured credential governance is most acute.
