The makers of the Quosal sales quote and proposal
platform have released a new mobile add-on that will make it possible to use
its visual quoting feature within its Order Porter software for the iPad. The
goal is to help resellers and IT service provider sales staff members who spend
more time on the road than in the office.

The app is available immediately throught he App Store.

Quosal initially rolled out Visual Quoting with the
release of Quosal 2012 in August. The feature allows users to convert any image
into a format that can be imported into Quosal so that customer quotes and
proposals can be prepared by clicking on designated areas within the image.

"Quoting and receiving approvals while you are still
onsite with your client is key to increasing your sales and cash flow,"
says Kent McNall, CEO of Quosal. "With this new release, our partners will
be able to use the Visual Quoting templates they’ve already created in Quosal
right on their iPads."

On top of the addition of Visual Quoting, the new mobile
app features improved reporting and inquiry capabilities. The app now has
special modes for managers and salespeople, giving management enterprise-wide
data collated by offices, locations are sales reps and allowing the sales staff
to compare their data to company sales leaders.

"We’ve greatly extended the analytics aspect of
Quosal," says McNall. "This new reporting provides insights and sales
quoting metrics most companies have never had available to them before."

With a longtime partnership on the books with ConnectWise
and the addition of ConnectWise and Autotask APIs to integrate with its latest proposal
framework, Bothell, Wash.-based Quosal has been on a campaign the past couple
of years to woo the technology channel market. In fact, back in May the company
saw an infusion of cash ConnectWise Capital, the investment arm of the PSA
vendor.

“Quosal has grown from a startup company with an empty
client list to a market leader in the mission-critical quote and proposal
automation space,” said Arnie Bellini, CEO at ConnectWise and co-founder of
ConnectWise Capital, at the time of the investment announcement. “We have seen
the benefits of the Quosal solution in our own business. The significant
supoort Quosal provides to the too-often ignored quoting process has resonated
within the IT Nation.”

In addition to its connections with ConnectWise and
Autotask, Quosal also integrates with Salesforce.com, Sage ACT! and SalesLogix,
and Microsoft CRM.
