SAP security is getting a round-the-clock upgrade as Pathlock and NTT DATA Business Solutions join forces to tackle growing cyber risks.
On Tuesday, Pathlock announced a global strategic partnership with NTT DATA Business Solutions to deliver managed SAP cybersecurity services to enterprise customers worldwide.
Partnership adds managed SAP cybersecurity services
The alliance brings together Pathlock’s SAP security technology with NTT DATA Business Solutions’ managed services capabilities, creating a service that provides continuous monitoring, threat detection, response, and governance support for SAP environments.
The announcement comes as organizations face increasing security risks across SAP systems, including ransomware attacks, insider threats, and fraud-related activity. At the same time, many companies continue to struggle to find and retain the specialized SAP security talent needed to protect complex enterprise environments.
NTT DATA SOC will deliver 24/7 monitoring
Under the agreement, NTT DATA Business Solutions will expand its existing SAP cybersecurity offerings with a managed service powered by Pathlock’s Cybersecurity Application Controls (CAC) technology.
The service will be delivered through NTT DATA Business Solutions’ Security Operations Center (SOC), providing customers with 24/7 SAP security operations and monitoring.
The companies said the offering is intended to improve visibility into threats, speed up response times, and reduce the operational burden associated with managing SAP security programs.
Additional capabilities include vulnerability management, threat detection and response, code scanning, transport control, and dynamic access controls.
According to the companies, the service is designed to help organizations reduce the risk of unauthorized access, financial fraud, and manipulation of business processes while strengthening governance and compliance efforts.
Pathlock Nexus powers application-aware controls
The managed service will be powered by Pathlock Nexus, the company’s AI-native platform for identity governance, security, and assurance across enterprise resource planning systems and other business-critical applications.
Pathlock said the platform is designed to help organizations govern both human and non-human identities while monitoring transactions and security controls across enterprise environments.
Leaders from both companies noted that traditional security strategies are failing to keep pace with vulnerabilities across enterprise software layers.

Company executives also emphasized the critical need for constant vigilance, pointing out that cybercriminals do not operate on a standard corporate schedule.
