Managed services provider Netrio has launched a new cybersecurity portfolio featuring eight as-a-service offerings designed to help mid-market businesses strengthen security operations, manage risk, and meet compliance requirements without building large internal security teams.
Announced October 13, the portfolio combines AI-powered threat intelligence with human security expertise, spanning everything from 24/7 monitoring and incident response to vulnerability management, penetration testing, and cybersecurity consulting.
The launch expands Netrio’s managed services capabilities as the company continues investing in AI-driven IT operations and strategic advisory services for mid-market customers.
Eight cybersecurity services target mid-market security gaps
Netrio said the portfolio is designed to address several challenges facing mid-market IT organizations, including cybersecurity talent shortages, limited budgets, fragmented security tools, and increasing compliance requirements.
The eight offerings include:
- Security Operations Center as a Service (SOCaaS): Around-the-clock monitoring, threat detection, alert triage, and incident response supported by AI-driven insights and security analysts.
- Threat and Vulnerability Management as a Service: Continuous vulnerability identification, prioritization, and remediation tracking.
- Endpoint Protection as a Service: Managed endpoint detection and response, email security, and web protection.
- Identity and Access Management as a Service: Identity governance, privileged access management, multifactor authentication, and zero-trust controls.
- Third-Party Risk Management as a Service: Vendor security assessments, risk scoring, and ongoing supply chain monitoring.
- Penetration Testing as a Service: Network, application, and cloud security testing, alongside phishing simulations.
- Compliance as a Service: Compliance program management, audit preparation, and virtual CISO and business information security officer services.
- Cybersecurity Consulting: Strategic advisory services covering security program development, incident readiness, and risk management.
Netrio said the services can operate alongside customers’ existing security tools, its own technology, or a combination of both.
“Because our cybersecurity and managed IT teams are integrated rather than separate vendors, we eliminate the handoffs that slow detection and resolution,” said Kevin Charest, Netrio’s CISO and vice president of cyber governance services.
Charest added that the company expects the integrated approach to deliver faster response times than models requiring customers to coordinate between separate IT and security providers.
Netrio builds on AI and managed services investments
The cybersecurity expansion follows several investments in Netrio’s broader services portfolio.
Earlier this year, Netrio launched an AI advisory and transformation practice focused on helping mid-market enterprises develop AI strategies, establish governance frameworks, and move AI initiatives into production.
The company has also continued developing its NetrioNow managed services platform, which incorporates AI-powered automation, service management, reporting, and security capabilities.
In a previous interview with Channel Insider, CEO Mark Clayman emphasized the company’s strategy of integrating existing vendor technologies rather than developing every capability internally.
The new cybersecurity portfolio extends that approach by bringing security operations, compliance, and IT management together under a broader managed services model.
Integrated security reflects changing MSP expectations
The launch also reflects a broader shift in how mid-market customers evaluate managed security services, with greater emphasis on measurable improvements in security posture rather than standalone monitoring tools.
“The mid-market has long been underserved by cybersecurity vendors, often left to deploy enterprise security tooling that organizations of this size struggle to fully realize value from,” said Andrew Braunberg, principal analyst, Omdia.
“A shift is underway toward services measured by actual improvement in security posture. Portfolios that span monitoring through compliance under a single provider are well positioned as that expectation becomes more mainstream.”
Netrio’s cybersecurity portfolio is available immediately to new and existing customers, including public sector and regulated organizations, as either standalone services or bundled with its managed IT offerings.
