Netrio has launched a new AI advisory and transformation practice to help mid-market enterprises move artificial intelligence projects beyond experimentation and into measurable business use.
The McKinney, Texas-based MSP said the new offering will support customers across AI evaluation, strategy, governance, deployment, and adoption. The practice is designed for organizations struggling with disconnected AI pilots, unclear use cases, shadow AI, and limited governance frameworks.
The launch reflects a growing opportunity for MSPs and technology service providers, as mid-market customers seek more structured support for AI implementation.
Practice focuses on governance, strategy, and deployment
Netrio’s AI advisory and transformation portfolio includes four core service areas:
- AI readiness, governance, and security
- AI strategy and roadmap development
- AI platform deployment and integration
- AI enablement, adoption, and ongoing support
The governance component is intended to assess current AI usage, identify shadow AI activity, and establish policies and risk controls. The strategy offering focuses on aligning AI projects with business objectives, prioritizing use cases, and creating phased execution roadmaps.
“AI has enormous potential, but most organizations are still in the early stages of figuring out how to apply it in a meaningful way,” said Gina Murphy, president and chief transformation officer of Netrio.
“Mid-market enterprises need a practical, governed path forward – one that connects strategy to execution and delivers measurable outcomes. Our AI advisory and transformation services are designed to help customers move beyond experimentation and build real, lasting AI capabilities that support their business objectives,” Murphy continued.
Netrio will also support secure AI platform rollouts, including integration into business workflows, access controls, scalability planning, and long-term operational support. The enablement portion includes training, playbooks, and optimization services to help customers move from initial pilots to broader adoption.
Channel veteran Al Calabrese to lead AI services
As part of the launch, Netrio named Al Calabrese vice president of AI services. He will lead the delivery and ongoing development of the AI services portfolio while working with customers on AI strategies tied to operational and business outcomes.
Calabrese previously held leadership roles at Accenture, Navisite, and Velocity Technology Solutions, bringing experience in technology consulting and transformation.
“AI is at the top of every customer’s agenda, but turning that priority into measurable business value is where most organizations get stuck,” Calabrese said. “Netrio is uniquely positioned to close that gap, bringing together strategy, security, and execution to build AI systems that are ready for production. I’m excited to lead this effort and help drive the next chapter of growth for Netrio.”
Netrio continues post-merger expansion in managed services
Netrio’s broader service portfolio includes managed IT infrastructure, AI, cybersecurity, cloud, connectivity and voice, and custom application development.
We spoke with the provider’s CEO, Mark Clayman, in March about his long-term plans for leveraging AI within the Netrio services platform, NetrioNow.
“We try to be very clear about not reinventing the wheel. Vendors are already building things that work, so we’ll use those where it makes sense, and then we’ll focus on offering the specialized services we know our customers want,” Clayman told Channel Insider.
The company said it supports more than 1,000 customers and has 450 employees across offices in Minnesota, New York, Texas, Belfast, Northern Ireland, and Pune, India.
