KDDI America and KDDI Europe are adding Exaforce’s agentic SOC platform to their managed security portfolios, giving the cybersecurity vendor a new route to multinational enterprises across the US and EMEA.
Under separate partnership agreements, the two KDDI subsidiaries will market and sell the Exaforce Agentic SOC Platform directly to enterprise customers while also incorporating the technology into their own managed security services.
The arrangement brings AI-assisted threat detection, triage, investigation, and response into KDDI’s SOC offerings as service providers seek to operationalize agentic AI within existing security practices.
KDDI targets cross-border security operations
The partnership combines KDDI’s regional enterprise relationships and managed services footprint with Exaforce’s AI-native security operations platform.
Exaforce said the arrangement is initially focused on multinational organizations with offices, subsidiaries, and group companies across the US and EMEA. Key elements of the partnership include:
- US and EMEA market coverage: KDDI America and KDDI Europe will market and sell the Exaforce Agentic SOC Platform to enterprise customers in their respective territories, with an initial focus on multinational organizations operating across the US and EMEA.
- Agentic SOC capabilities: Exaforce’s platform uses a real-time knowledge graph and what the company calls Multi-Model AI to support AI-driven threat detection, triage, investigation, and response.
- KDDI managed services: KDDI will combine Exaforce’s platform with its existing regional presence, enterprise relationships, and managed security services.
- Cross-regional operations: KDDI America and KDDI Europe will support multinational customers operating across both regions, combining localized support with centralized security visibility and automation through Exaforce.
“KDDI’s deep relationships with enterprise customers make them an ideal partner to extend Exaforce’s reach into markets we are incredibly excited about,” said Ankur Singla, CEO and co-founder of Exaforce.
“Together, we will help enterprises modernize their security operations with AI-native threat detection, triage, investigation, and response.”
Exaforce adds agentic AI to KDDI’s SOC services
KDDI America plans to use Exaforce to add an AI-native security operations layer to its existing SOC-as-a-Service offering. Tetsuya Nakamura, executive vice president and chief technology officer of KDDI America, said the partnership is intended to integrate automated detection and response more closely with KDDI’s managed security services.
“Our partnership with Exaforce accelerates that vision by bolstering our SOC-as-a-Service with an AI-native layer of precision, speed, and operational rigor across our security offerings, allowing us to anticipate and respond to threats with greater speed and accuracy,” Nakamura said.
Meanwhile, KDDI Europe is positioning Exaforce within a comprehensive security model spanning consultation and risk alignment, system design and implementation, and ongoing operations.
Ken Tsutsui, deputy managing director and chief technology officer of KDDI Europe, said Exaforce will serve as a component of the company’s SOC service for AI-assisted detection, investigation, and response.
“At the core of this model sits our SOC service, where Exaforce serves as a strategic cornerstone, enabling business context-aware, agentic-AI-driven detection, investigation and response,” Tsutsui said.
“As AI reshapes the threat landscape, attackers are becoming more adaptive and scalable, making intelligent automation essential to maintain effective defence.”
Partnership expands Exaforce’s managed services reach
The agreements give Exaforce another route to enterprise customers through KDDI’s existing presence in the US and EMEA, with the announcement specifically highlighting Japanese multinational companies operating outside their home market.
KDDI Europe also described itself as Exaforce’s founding strategic partner in EMEA. The partnership expands Exaforce’s international go-to-market footprint while adding its agentic SOC technology to KDDI’s managed security offerings across the two regions.
This collaboration illustrates how MSPs and MSSPs could incorporate agentic SOC technology into broader managed security offerings rather than treating it solely as a standalone platform.
KDDI America is incorporating Exaforce into its SOC-as-a-Service model, while KDDI Europe is positioning the platform within a security lifecycle that includes consulting, implementation, and ongoing operations.
That approach provides one example of how service providers can incorporate AI-assisted detection, investigation, and response alongside existing security services while maintaining the broader customer relationship.
OpenAI investors are discussing a potential funding round that could value the company at roughly $1.2 trillion, although formal fundraising has not yet begun. Read more about the potential round and what it could mean for OpenAI ahead of an eventual IPO.
