CrowdStrike is expanding Project QuiltWorks and launching Falcon IQ, an agentic AI layer designed to help partners and customers assess AI risk, prioritize security needs, and accelerate the adoption of secure AI.
Announced at CrowdStrike’s Fal.Con 2026 event, Falcon IQ productizes the Project QuiltWorks methodology, giving the company’s partner ecosystem a more structured way to guide customers through AI visibility, vulnerability prioritization, remediation, and broader cybersecurity planning.
CrowdStrike targets secure AI adoption with partners
Upcoming partnerships with hyperscalers, AI companies, technology providers, and professional services firms are intended to deliver specific customer outcomes rather than merely represent logo partnerships, according to Daniel Bernard, chief business officer at CrowdStrike.
“These aren’t just CrowdStrike and a logo. These are CrowdStrike and a story. CrowdStrike and an outcome,” said Bernard.
Bernard cites Optiv as an example of the commercial opportunity available to partners, citing the announcement that the reseller has surpassed $2 billion in CrowdStrike sales.
“I think it’s clear where the market is going, where the ecosystem is going,” said Bernard. “AI is certainly changing everything, and that creates a huge opportunity for everybody on our show floor, and for everybody that we work with.”
Customer demand for secure AI adoption
Bernard explained that Project QuiltWorks has emerged in response to customer demand for help with the secure adoption of frontier AI.
He says that customers wanted to understand AI risk while still moving forward with AI adoption.
“We started getting all these calls from customers of all sizes to say: ‘Help, what do I do? I need to adopt frontier AI, but I don’t know how to make sure that it’s secure,’” said Bernard. “The Mythos moment, what it represents in the market and what it represents just generally, is that AI needs cybersecurity. The more AI that’s adopted, the more cybersecurity that’s needed.”
“Questions of: How do I get visibility over AI risk? How do I see and what vulnerabilities really matter? How do I prioritize the vulnerabilities? How do I handle remediation?” Bernard explained.
Falcon IQ productizes the Project QuiltWorks methodology
Falcon IQ was introduced as an agentic layer that turns the Project QuiltWorks methodology into a product.
The tool is designed to help partners and customers determine what they need to do to adopt AI more quickly and securely.
“Falcon IQ is an agentic layer built on some great technology from NVIDIA. We’re using Nemotron models. We’ve created our own UI that goes on top of the product for our partner ecosystem and for customers, and what it does is it takes the Quilt Works methodology, and it productizes it,” said Beranrd.
“It goes through a whole process for the customer, and it makes it even easier for partners to do Project QuiltWorks so they can understand what they need to do to adopt more AI faster, which modules are relevant for their AI journey, and what they need to do next.”
Marketplaces create another route to market
CrowdStrike continues to focus on giving ecosystem members new tools, services opportunities, technology integrations, and routes to market.
“[Our] objective is to help make sure that our ecosystem has the new tools that they need to be super successful to know how to expand their businesses with CrowdStrike,” said Bernard.
The Snowflake Marketplace is another way customers can purchase CrowdStrike and helps make CrowdStrike more available wherever customers and partners prefer to conduct technology purchases.
“One of our sayings is that CrowdStrike must be present to win,” said Bernard. “Snowflake’s a great technology partner of ours. They have their marketplace. Now customers can use their Snowflake dollars to buy CrowdStrike.”
CrowdStrike wants its ecosystem partners to grow alongside the company.
When describing Fal.Con 2026, Bernard notes: “This is not just a CrowdStrike show. This is a cybersecurity show. This is how we all work together. This is an ecosystem show.”
