Asigra Expands Its Partner Training and Certification Program

Asigra, a cloud backup, recovery and restore specialist, has expanded its partner training and certification program. Key improvements to the Asigra Hybrid Partner Training and Certification Program include in-class and virtual instructor-led education and e-learning.

The program has several new certifications, including the Asigra Certified Associate (ACA), Asigra Certified Professional (ACP) and Asigra Certified Engineer (ACE). Other additions to the program include e-learning for customers and presales training.

In addition, Asigra is now introducing per-support ticket pricing, which follows a pay-per-use model for which partners pay based on their consumption only.

Centrify Unveils New Program for MSPs

Centrify, an unified identity management specialist, announced a new managed service provider channel program, as well as MSP-specific product enhancements to its Cloud Identity offerings.

The new MSP program augments the existing Centrify Channel Partner Network (CCPN). The new program allows solution providers to leverage Centrify’s identity-as-a-service (IDaaS) technology to address their customers’ requirements for single sign-on (SSO) to software-as-a-service (SaaS) apps such as Office 365, multi-factor authentication (MFA), user provisioning, enterprise mobility management (EMM) and VPN-less access to on-premises applications such as Sharepoint.

Centrify enhanced the Centrify User Suite product, which provides a single Active Directory- or cloud-based login to corporate resources, including mobile devices, Macs and cloud apps, to enable MSPs to offer a scalable IDaaS product. MSPs can now create private tenants for their customers, and easily log in and manage those tenants (including enabling/disabling tenants they have created), all from a single pane of glass. The subscription model creates a new revenue stream for existing partners who want to conduct some portion of their business as an MSP, said the company.

Gigamon Launches Partner Program for VARs

Gigamon, a provider of traffic visibility solutions, launched a new channel program for VAR partners. Key new program features include a range of incentives and financial benefits, sales and technical certifications, sales enablement tools and access to marketing resources.

The new program includes expanded market development funds and significant investments in training programs. Other enhancements focus on helping partners develop expertise, build awareness and create demand. These include channel enablement (pre- and post-sales training certifications as well as marketing, sales and technical tools), channel development (joint business planning and marketing incentives) and channel rewards.
