TD SYNNEX is expanding its exclusive distribution agreement with Broadcom, expanding its security portfolio throughout the Americas.

TD SYNNEX, a leading global distributor and solutions aggregator for the IT ecosystem, will now own the complete go-to-market strategy and customer relationships for Broadcom’s Symantec and Carbon Black portfolios in Latin America and the Caribbean (LAC) and North America (excluding U.S. State & Local Government and Education Accounts). These expansions are part of Broadcom’s newly launched Catalyst Initiative.

The move will streamline the purchasing process and enhance region-based support for both product portfolios.

“Expanding our Broadcom Aggregator offerings to include Carbon Black and CA Technologies solutions across Latin America enables us to leverage our local market knowledge and connect partners with the right solutions for their business,” said Marcos Murata, Vice President, Vendor Management and Business Strategy, TD SYNNEX in LAC in a press release.

According to Mike Heintzelman, Senior Vice President, Vendor Solutions at TD SYNNEX in North America, the company’s  2023 Direction of Technology report highlighted cybersecurity as a top priority for their partners. That report revealed that 46 percent of respondents wanted to add security offerings to their portfolios over the next two years.

“Expanding our support is one of the ways we provide our partners with the resources and expertise they need to deliver in-demand solutions to their customers and address ever-changing security challenges,” Heintzelman said.

Going forward, TD SYNNEX in LAC will be the sole distributor of Broadcom’s CA Technologies software solutions for the enterprise and mainframe market segments.

Earlier this year, TD SYNNEX and Broadcom reached  an agreement that the addition of these new offerings will build on. That prior agreement made TD SYNNEX in LAC the exclusive distributor of Symantec cybersecurity solutions.

IT distribution continues to be a hot topic for MSPs searching for new and expanded offerings, like Cynomi, which is now available through the Pax8 marketplace.
