IKANOW Announces New Partner Program

IKANOW, a provider of open-source information security analytics, launched a new channel partner program for resellers, integrators, and service providers. The IKANOW Preferred Partner Program was created to meet increased demand from mid- to large-size enterprise customers for the company’s Information Security Analytics (ISA) solution. Program benefits include technical guidance, sales and marketing support, and financial incentives

The ISA solution reduces the time to breach detection by aggregating data across all data sources and identifying anomalies, while the risk-based vulnerability prioritization capability enables information security teams and managed security service providers (MSSPs) to focus on the most critical items. For partners, this creates opportunities for new revenue streams, the company said. The program is currently available in North America and will expand globally over the next several months.

Silver Peak Signs Ingram Micro

Silver Peak signed a distribution agreement with Ingram Micro to meet growing demand for Silver Peak’s Unity EdgeConnect SD-WAN solution in the United States. The agreement is Silver Peak’s first SD-WAN distribution agreement. The company also recently launched its new global partner program to help channel partners capitalize on the growing SD-WAN market.

CSRA Joins Carbon Black Alliance Program

CSRA, a provider of next-generation IT solutions and professional services to government organizations, joined the “Carbon Black Connect” Alliance Program as a managed security services provider (MSSP) partner. Carbon Black’s security solutions, Cb Enterprise Protection and Cb Enterprise Response, help customers remediate cyber-attacks and breaches.

Unitrends, CloudCheckr Help MSPs Grow AWS Businesses

Unitrends, a provider of enterprise-level cloud continuity, and CloudCheckr, a provider of Amazon Web Services (AWS) monitoring and services management solutions, formed a joint partnership to help managed service providers (MSPs) grow their AWS-hosted businesses.

Partners will be able to leverage CloudCheckr solutions and Unitrends Boomerang, a virtual appliance that enables users to move virtual machines (VMs) from VMware to AWS. Boomerang enables AWS MSPs to provide differentiation and maintain margins with disaster recovery as a service (DRaaS), migration, cloud-bursting and billing for AWS infrastructures, said Unitrends.

Pivot3 Adds New Partners

Pivot3, a provider of hyper-converged infrastructure (HCI) solutions, added two new service providers—ADAPTURE and Gotham Technology Group—to its channel network. Through the partnerships, ADAPTURE, an IT lifecycle solutions provider, and Gotham Technology Group, an IT consulting firm, extend their service and product portfolios with HCI and flash storage solutions.

eSentire Intros Channel Partner Program

eSentire, a provider of active threat protection solutions and managed security services, launched its new channel partner program. This follows recent funding of $19.5 million, which will be used in part to invest in the company’s global channel expansion plans. The global program allows its partners—resellers, MSPs, referrals or technology partners—to resell, refer opportunities or incorporate its Active Threat Protection service into their own offerings.

Program benefits include collaborative sales engagement, deal registration, co-marketing support and resources, training opportunities, access to the partner portal, and access to a channel systems engineer.

Lightstream Expands Storage Solutions Portfolio

Zadara Storage, a provider of enterprise-class storage-as-a-service (STaaS), announced that its Virtual Private Storage Array (VPSA) platform is now available as part of a new Lightstream storage-as-a-service offering. The VPSA platform provides pay-as-you-go storage, available in the cloud, on-premise or in hybrid configurations.
