Bell Adds Windows Embedded Solutions to Roster

Bell Microproducts Inc., a distributor based in San Jose, Calif., has added more Windows products to its distribution portfolio.

In addition to distributing Microsoft Office, Windows and MediaCenter software products to PC system builders through its commercial division, Bell Micro will now distribute Windows Embedded Solutions, including Windows CE and XP Embedded, through its industrial OEM and systems integrator network.

Spectra Logic Distributes Through D&H, Adds 20,000 Resellers

Spectra Logic Corp. of Boulder, Colo., has initiated a new distribution program that will allow D&H Distributing Co., a wholesale distributor based in Harrisburg, Pa., to distribute several Spectra Logic products to its resellers, including the S50 LTO library, the Spectra 2K AIT library, DAStape and NAState stand-alone tape drives, and other media products.

Spectra Logic’s deal with D&H Distributing will add more than 20,000 additional commercial and government resellers in North America, according to Spectra Logic CEO Nathan Thompson.

LSI Adds Major New Distributor

Milpitas, Calif., company LSI Logic Corp. has inked a deal with ASI Corp. of Fremont, Calif. to distribute its MegaRAID and HBA (Host Bus Adapter) solutions, including Ultra320 SCSI, Fibre Channel, SATA (Serial ATA), 3GB/sec SAS (Serial Attached SCSI) and SATA II.

According to ASI Vice President Brian Paterson, ASI plans to focus heavily on distributing the LSI Logic product line.

Zantaz Adds 9 Partners

Zantaz Inc., a Pleasanton, Calif., developer of e-mail archiving, compliance and electronic discovery solutions, has added nine new partners to its Zantaz EAS Channel Partner program.

The partners span the globe, including Al Moammar Information Systems of Saudi Arabia; Dimension Data of Sydney, Australia; Jeskell Inc. of Sunnyvale, Calif.; Jump In I.T. of Hong Kong; Kraft Kennedy & Lesser Inc. of New York; LAN Associates of New York; and RetNetSos Consultores of Latin America.

By adding so many global partners, the company hopes to quickly expand its channel program and customer base, said Ken Edoff, vice president of channel marketing.
