Automated certificate lifecycle management (CLM) and public key infrastructure (PKI) software provider, AppViewX, has announced Troy Dankworth as Vice President of Global Channels & Partnerships.

Dankworth now leads efforts to deepen alliances and scale the channel ecosystem

Dankworth will be charged with accelerating global partner growth, deepening strategic alliances, and scaling AppViewX’s channel ecosystem to meet demand for enterprise-grade machine identity orchestration, private PKI modernization, and crypto-agility solutions.

“AppViewX is at a market inflection point. As one of the few partner-first vendors in the machine identity space, service providers are central to our growth strategy,” said Dankworth. “Working closely with our partners, we can scale faster, unlock new opportunities for their business, and deliver greater value to customers. My focus will be on building a high-performance ecosystem that not only accelerates AppViewX’s global reach, but also helps partners grow their revenues by solving critical machine identity and certificate lifecycle challenges.”

According to AppViewX, this appointment is an indicator of their determination to double down on channel expansion and global growth.

Dankworth joins AppViewX from Keyfactor, a machine and IoT identity platform for modern enterprises. While there, Dankworth served as vice president of channels. Additionally, he has held leadership roles at SolarWinds, Snow Software, and NetApp.

“As organizations grapple with shrinking TLS certificate lifecycles and emerging quantum risks, Troy brings to AppViewX a proven track record for building world-class channel programs for the leading names in cybersecurity and enterprise software,” said Stephen Tarleton, COO at AppViewX. “He has consistently delivered double-digit growth and created partner ecosystems that served as a force multiplier for customer success and global expansion.”

In addition to the organization’s channel push, AppViewX is expanding globally and addressing demand for securing machine identities with shorter certificate lifecycle mandates forthcoming.

Expanding the AppViewX leadership team: other recent appointments

Dankworth’s appointment builds off the momentum of other executive leadership appointments made by the organization.

Earlier this year, AppViewX named Paul Trulove as chief product officer (CPO) and Madhu Venkatarajan as chief technology officer (CTO). Chris Bailey is also joining as a new board member.

“Strengthening our leadership team is part of our broader commitment to customers– we’re not just solving today’s problems, we’re building for the future,” said Dino DiMarino, CEO of AppViewX. “Paul, Madhu, and Chris each bring unique expertise that will help us accelerate innovation, improve product delivery, and ensure we remain the most trusted partner in machine identity management, crypto-agility, and post-quantum cryptography readiness.”

Trulove brings over 20 years of experience in enterprise software, including more than 15 years in identity and access management (IAM) roles, as CEO of SecureAuth and CPO for SailPoint Technologies.

Venkatarajan also brings decades of experience to the role, leading global software engineering and product delivery teams. He had previously served as VP of engineering and country head at PlanSource.

Additionally, Bailey brings over 25 years of expertise in shaping global standards and holding senior roles at Entrust, Trend Micro, and GeoTrust. He is currently serving as Board Chair of the PKI Consortium and is a founding member of the CA/Browser Forum.

As we enter the last month of Q3, the channel has been busy with new leadership appointments. Catch up on the latest channel appointments from the month of August to stay on top of the latest trends.
