Security vendor ThreatDown today announced a new global program to support its reseller partners. We spoke with ThreatDown General Manager Kendra Krause ahead of the announcement about how the program addresses partner feedback and why now was the right time to build a new approach.

Nexus Partner Program brings technical support, GTM resources, and other benefits to resellers

ThreatDown has worked with channel reseller partners for years, but the Nexus Partner Program formalizes those relationships in a new structure.

Available globally, the program offers competitive discounts, revenue protection, marketing resources, and technical support. The Nexus Partner Program gives partners access to dedicated enablement teams focused on training, certification, and joint business planning to help them scale efficiently.

“We heard from partners that they loved our technology but wanted more support from us, so we came to the table to determine how we could provide more incentives, specific protections, margins, and the resources they need to be competitive,” Krause said.

The program, according to Krause, implements deal registration and margin protections that she knows partners need to trust their working relationships with technology vendors.

“ThreatDown is a strategic partner for us, providing comprehensive marketing and sales support throughout the customer lifecycle,” said Karen Greer, CEO of Secure Content Technologies. “They make doing business together easy – and together, we are a united front in providing quality protection and support.”

The program is now available globally to all ThreatDown partners.

ThreatDown has spent much of 2025 aligning itself around a channel-first strategy. Krause herself joined the company in August and made it clear very quickly she was on board to deepen its channel strategy worldwide.

“One of the first things I did was go talk to partners about what was working well for them and what needed improvement,” Krause said. “I wanted to quickly move to set us up for success moving forward.”

Krause told Channel Insider that ThreatDown has also invested in new roles across North America and EMEA to bring territory-based channel management to partners seeking end-to-end support.

Heading into 2026, ThreatDown has established what Krause calls the foundation to build stronger relationships with existing partners and bring new resellers into the fold.

“We are strategically recruiting partners looking for a simple and effective cybersecurity solution in the midmarket space,” Krause said.
